Speaker B:Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker B:I don't remember that one, but okay.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Oh, yeah.
Speaker B:What have you been up to, Les?
Speaker A:Just dodging snakes.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:No.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:I. I walked in my garage yesterday or the day before.
Speaker A:I don't know.
Speaker A:Time is irrelevant.
Speaker A:And there was a sl.
Speaker A:Ring thing, and I screamed really loud and freaked out everybody inside.
Speaker A:And then I was just like, sorry, there is a snake.
Speaker A:And at least it wasn't a bad one.
Speaker A:But I didn't ask its name.
Speaker B:No.
Speaker B:Is it gone?
Speaker B:So we assume so.
Speaker A:I assume so.
Speaker A:I've been in and out of the garage a few times, and nothing has slithered by me.
Speaker B:So he's gone.
Speaker A:He was super fast and not a very big snake.
Speaker B:I guess that's good.
Speaker A:I guess that's good.
Speaker A:I'm pretty sure he was harmless.
Speaker A:Hopefully not eating anything that I particularly enjoy.
Speaker B:That's good.
Speaker A:Any of my birds or their eggs, etc.
Speaker A:Yeah, yeah, I do.
Speaker A:Like, there's a.
Speaker A:Like, the bird's nest and the, like, they move.
Speaker A:Birds move in and out of this one particular part of my.
Speaker A:My porch.
Speaker A:It's kind of like an apartment, and they, like, rent it, you know, like.
Speaker A:So, like, one bird will come.
Speaker A:Like, a couple of birds will come use it, and then, like, other ones will come and they'll check it out.
Speaker A:And, like, I don't know if I want to stay here.
Speaker A:And then, like, someone will move in for a little bit.
Speaker A:I am afraid, like, some snake's gonna figure that out and just go, like, climb up to the apartment.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Say it's the bird apartment.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker B:You got a bird hostel.
Speaker A:Snakes.
Speaker A:Birds.
Speaker A:Snakes can climb things.
Speaker B:They can.
Speaker B:I don't want to think about it.

Speaker B:I like to pretend like they can't.
Speaker A:Climb, like, trees, even Though it's tree snakes.
Speaker A:They fall out of trees.
Speaker B:No, they don't.
Speaker B:That doesn't happen.
Speaker A:I say I've never seen that happen.
Speaker B:I know, I know it happens.
Speaker B:I just don't have to think about it.
Speaker A:Oh, my favorite things.
Speaker A:Yeah, I really.
Speaker A:We won't.

Speaker A:I won't manifest any more snakes with that.
Speaker B:But.
Speaker A:So, yeah, nearly nothing is.
Speaker A:I was supposed to go do some fun, like botany planting stuff this weekend and the class got canceled because I was the only person who signed up for it.
Speaker A:And I don't know if it was because they're like, we don't know if it's because it's tax free weekend or if it's just too hot because it's back to school stuff.
Speaker A:And I'm like, what is wrong with you people?
Speaker A:Like, do you not want to, like, attach moss to wood and like put plants on things?
Speaker A:Like, it's seemed exciting to me, but apparently I was the only.
Speaker A:And I like, signed up for it really fast thinking, like, oh, like, this will sell out.
Speaker A:That last one almost sold out.
Speaker A:And I was the only reasonable person who signed up.
Speaker A:And like a nerd.
Speaker A:Like, I signed up probably like within like the first like hour of them offering it.
Speaker A:Probably too.
Speaker A:Well, that's.
Speaker B:I mean, that's reasonable.
Speaker A:Such a plant fangirl.
Speaker B:So thirsty for plants.
Speaker A:So thirsty for plants.
Speaker A:But my terrarium that I made there last time.
Speaker A:So I got this, I told you, I got the sensitive plant.
Speaker A:So the sensitive plant reacts to touch and the plant has now grown out of a terrarium.
Speaker A:So I don't know, want to put the top back on and like, smush the sensitive plant.
Speaker A:And then later they said, like, you can cut the tops of your tops of your plant off, but it's sensitive and I don't want to do that to it.
Speaker A:So I don't know if it just like is no longer gonna be a terrarium and I'm just gonna let it kind of grow the way it wants to grow.
Speaker B:I mean, it is sensitive.
Speaker A:Yeah, I don't wanna.
Speaker A:I don't want to hurt his feelings or Arthur.
Speaker A:That's why, I mean, the plant is Arthur.
Speaker A:So.
Speaker A:Yep, that's what I'm up to.
Speaker A:I'm naming my plants.
Speaker A:That's how exciting my life is going.
Speaker A:Technically.
Speaker A:My mother named the plant, I just.
Speaker A:Yeah, I'm taking it the name Arthur.
Speaker B:So I think it's a good, good plant name.
Speaker A:That's a good plant name.
Speaker A:And what about you?
Speaker A:Anything more exciting than naming your plants?
Speaker B:Yeah, you Know, I've gotten to.
Speaker B:I got to go see our old.
Speaker B:Our friend Stephanie has reestablished and is reopening her rum.
Speaker B:Just re opening a location.
Speaker B:They've continued the run, but Island Getaway Rum is now in Dallas, which is fun.
Speaker B:And that just like, I don't know.
Speaker B:I went and had wine at a really cute wine bar that serves Shambongs and I'm very amused by this.
Speaker B:But no, I've been busy.
Speaker B:Been like social, but like usually just chilling and having a meal and catching up with people.
Speaker B:So not like notables.
Speaker A:I don't know.
Speaker B:Not that my friends aren't notable.
Speaker B:It's just, you know, just hanging out, doing the things.
Speaker B:And now I'm tired all the time.
Speaker A:Yeah, forties.
Speaker B:Yeah, something like that.
Speaker B:I mean, I'm halfway there.
Speaker B:It's halfway through them.
Speaker B:So I mean, let's go.
Speaker B:But yeah, so that's about it here.

Speaker A:There's also like a dozen like psychobilly songs about breakdowns because guys want to like slap their upright bases to have a breakdown.
Speaker B:I went, I went hardcore.
Speaker B:I'm like break down like a hardcore show.
Speaker B:Like, I want to see somebody picking up change and doing some spin kicks.
Speaker A:Okay, that's possible.
Speaker A:That's also, you know, so many, many things.
Speaker A:The many, many ways you can have breakdowns.
Speaker A: ,: Speaker A:It was directed by Amin Katarali and we last saw him direct episode 16, ladies drink free and was written by Davey Perez, who does.
Speaker A:He did all the ones with the fun punk rock names.
Speaker A:He did American Nightmare.
Speaker A:Stuck in the middle with you Somewhere between heaven and hell and then Tombstone.
Speaker A:So we start off with our recap and it's Donna and then Doug and vampires and Dean turning into a vampire.
Speaker A:Then there's a vampire cure, Madonna decapitating and hugging.
Speaker A:As you want to say what song is playing?
Speaker A:No, as the chantel is looking to my eyes.
Speaker B:That one.
Speaker B:I got that one.
Speaker A:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker A:And that's caffeine hugging.
Speaker A:Sorry, I didn't.
Speaker A:I realized that was what's happening next scene and not during here.
Speaker A:So yes, there's decapitating and hugging.
Speaker A:And then we start our episode with.
Speaker B:Look into my eyes by the chantels.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:In a really gross lab, I guess.
Speaker A:Dirty everything is disgusting.
Speaker A:You need a laundry mat.
Speaker A:You need some Clorox.
Speaker A:And I'm not a fan of Clorox.
Speaker A:I want some natural cleaners.
Speaker A:But for.
Speaker A:Sometimes I'm like, no, you need to reach this place.
Speaker A:This place needs to be burnt and set on fire.
Speaker A:But, yeah, it's gross.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:And so we see it.
Speaker B:It's actually like kind of a cool little.
Speaker B:I think it's the cool scene.
Speaker B:They actually repeat this later.
Speaker B:You see the knob on the stereo and this.
Speaker B:A gloved hand reaches over and has blood on it.
Speaker B:Leaves a bloody fingerprint on it.
Speaker B:The music up.
Speaker B:And then we see that shot later of the.
Speaker B:The old stereo with the bloody fingerprint on it.
Speaker B:On the knob.
Speaker B:I think it was a really cool, like, shot choice.
Speaker A:It is.
Speaker A:But that's disgusting.
Speaker A:Why are you leaving bloody fingerprints on knobs?
Speaker A:That's gross.
Speaker A:Wash your hands, man.
Speaker A:Like, it's unsanitary.
Speaker A:It just is.
Speaker A:All these tools are really scary.
Speaker A:And not just because they look old and stuff.
Speaker A:They look like they're going to give you all tetanus.
Speaker A:Every single one of them is giving you fucking tetanus.
Speaker A:There's also a plethora of missing posters.
Speaker A:And there's a chair.
Speaker A:And then screams and body parts.
Speaker B:And a guy's arm.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Laying there.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:And the screams.
Speaker B:And we cut from the screams, too.
Speaker B:We see a semi in Oshkosh, Nebraska.
Speaker B:You do it better than I do.
Speaker A:I can't.
Speaker B:I have to work on that one.
Speaker B:And we get.
Speaker B:We are at a Manny's Truck Stop and Cafe, and we see a sedan pull in.
Speaker B:And this has a lot of bumper stickers on it with a lot of opinions.
Speaker B:And then they.
Speaker A:She has opinions.
Speaker B:It's bumper stickers with opinions.
Speaker B:I feel like that's very distinct.
Speaker B:And then a young chick jumps out.
Speaker B:She's trying to get gas.
Speaker B:Of course, the card reader doesn't work.
Speaker B:It's night.
Speaker B:And this is sketch.
Speaker B:And of course, that's what happens.
Speaker B:And she has to go inside because of course she does.
Speaker A:Of course she does.
Speaker A:And there's nothing worse.
Speaker A:We just want to get your gas and go.
Speaker A:And it's just like.
Speaker A:And then you have to go inside, and you know you're gonna have to talk to some pervy cashier.
Speaker A:And there she is.
Speaker A:She has to get on the cashier.
Speaker A:And the cashier's like, can I see your id?
Speaker A:And as she gives him her card, he.
Speaker A:Then he makes fun of her name.
Speaker B:Yeah, it's a weird.
Speaker B:It's a weird flex there.
Speaker B:But I want to point out two things that happen here, too.
Speaker B:As she's walking in, we hear a man who we find out later is a street preacher quoting Psalms while he's eating a steak to another person at his table.
Speaker B:There's other truckers.
Speaker B:They all just stop and watch when he comes in.
Speaker B:But our cashier, before he's pervy, I'm amused because he is reading the Daily Searcher, and the front cover of it is talking about how aliens are watching and alien autopsies.
Speaker B:And the back cover is the canine fairy ballet, and it's a picture of a bulldog with wings things.
Speaker A:That's pretty amazing.
Speaker B:Yes, I was very amused.
Speaker B:Anyways, yeah, so, yeah, this guy's a dick about her paying and is super creepy.
Speaker B:Yeah, I get show your ID to go with your credit card.
Speaker B:But then, like.
Speaker B:And he's, like, telling her to smile.
Speaker B:And.
Speaker A:Yeah, he tells her if she smiles that she can get whatever she wants and she should just punch him in the dick.
Speaker A:Is that point.
Speaker A:And everybody watches her as she leaves.
Speaker A:And as she puts the gas in her car, a scary guy comes offering to wash her windows.
Speaker B:Yeah, I'm like, don't approach someone in a parking lot at night with no light and offer to wash their windows, please.
Speaker B:That's rude.
Speaker B:And she's like, nope.
Speaker B:And she drives away quickly.
Speaker B:And then she gets a flat not far away, and she tries to flog down a truck because a semi drives past, but they don't stop.
Speaker B:And she's pissed, but whatever.
Speaker B:She notices this big spiky thing in her tire, though, that obviously it was not just like, oh, I hit a nail.
Speaker B:No, this is like, a big chunk of metal.
Speaker A:This is a giant.
Speaker A:This is a terrible thing that looks like your tire is.
Speaker A:You have to buy a new tire now.
Speaker B:Yeah, yeah, Fix the flat, ain't.
Speaker B:It Ain't gonna fix that.
Speaker B:And so then a dude grabs her and he has this creepy leather full head mask on and goggles.
Speaker B:And she's, of course, getting dragged away screaming.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:I am disappointed that there was no move towards getting a flat.
Speaker A:Fixing a flat herself, like.
Speaker A:And granted that I know there's some cars or.
Speaker A:That's not an option.
Speaker A:Like, on my car, it's not an option.
Speaker A:I have a run flat are.
Speaker A:And so sometimes you.
Speaker A:You're just.
Speaker A:You are screwed.
Speaker A:But so I.
Speaker A:But at least you could have, like, been going for, like, a tire iron or something and not just been as helpless as, like, being on the side of the Road just.
Speaker A:And trying to flag somebody down in the middle of the night.
Speaker A:That seems unpreparedy.
Speaker A:But anyhow.
Speaker A:So she gets.
Speaker A:She gets.
Speaker A:She gets taken.
Speaker A:So we go.
Speaker A:She gets taken by a mask, man.
Speaker A:And we're gonna go from there to.
Speaker B:The bunker where Sam is tossing and turning in bed from 6am to 8:22.
Speaker B:And he's obviously awake, but he's just staying in bed.
Speaker B:And Dean knocks because he's making pancakes, but Dean doesn't answer him and stays in bed until 10am and is awoken by a phone call from What a sloth.
Speaker A:10:00Am oh, my goodness.
Speaker A:So.
Speaker A:Can't imagine sleeping that late.
Speaker A:I don't know.
Speaker A:No, I can't either.
Speaker A:But it sounds lovely.
Speaker A:So Sam's phone rings and it's Donna.
Speaker A:And her niece has gone missing.
Speaker A:And the local cops are not being helpful.
Speaker A:And she know it isn't their normal thing, but can they.
Speaker B:And Sam and Dina, of course, gonna be on the way.
Speaker B:Dean says so.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:And Donna's truck is so cute.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:And they.
Speaker B:When they pull up to the impound lot where Donna's waiting for him, we get hugs and she's apologizing for even calling them.
Speaker B:But basically she shares that her niece's car, whose name is Wendy, by the way, was found.
Speaker A:Jody just has her hands full with it with the girls too.
Speaker A:So that does get.
Speaker A:That gets noted in there.
Speaker A:So before that, they also.
Speaker A:There is a great shot of them as they're talking through this.
Speaker A:Through the impound door.
Speaker A:Like where they're framed in it.
Speaker A:And I thought it was really good as they were having this.
Speaker A:This conversation.
Speaker B:Agreed.
Speaker B:And.
Speaker B:But basically we find out Wendy was taking a gap year and she was inspired to take it by Donna taking one.
Speaker B:And so she's blaming herself for all of this.
Speaker B:But either way, Doug is there with her and helping.
Speaker B:He's currently talking to the local cops inside.
Speaker B:So Dean's gonna go in while Sam stays talking to Donna for now.
Speaker B:And he's inspecting the car with the spiky thing in the tire.
Speaker B:And then this agent dude approaches and calls.
Speaker B:Comes in real hot on Dean and calls him son.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:And so his name is Agent Clegg.
Speaker A:And so Doug is like, oh, like, this is like, not really good.
Speaker A:Doug dumpstumps in the middle.
Speaker A:Because Dean doesn't take well to being called son.
Speaker A:And so Doug introduces him, and he introduces Dean as Agent Savage.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker A:And Clegg is like, what field office are you out of?
Speaker A:And Dean's like.
Speaker A:And then he, like, backtracks and he lies and he says that the victim is his.
Speaker A:His family and that it's her cousin.
Speaker A:And remember, this is Donna's knee.
Speaker A:So Doug's just like, oh, you're related to Donna.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:And then he.
Speaker B:But then it was kind of funny.
Speaker B:Then he goes, oh, I were you at the family reunion in Sioux Falls a few weeks ago?
Speaker B:I heard it was a wild time.
Speaker B:Dean definitely agrees.
Speaker B:So that was Donna's excuse for going to help Jody.
Speaker A:Going to help Jody was that she was to a family reunion and Dean went there and said it was a wild time.
Speaker A:Isn't that great?
Speaker A:That's so fun.
Speaker A:So Clegg is talking now to Donna, Doug, Sam and Dean with a map of where he.
Speaker A:Where he.
Speaker A:Where she found her.
Speaker A:But.
Speaker A:And is a road typically used by long haul truckers.
Speaker A:And the troopers got an anonymous tip about where that was.
Speaker B:And that's not abnormal because that fits the pattern of a serial abductor that he has been tracking for 12 years.
Speaker B:And.
Speaker B:And he's, you know, he's got a whole murder board he's ready to show.
Speaker B:Whole murder board, map, red yarn, the whole shebang, the whole thing.
Speaker A:The agent calls him the butterfly.
Speaker A:And also, I have been watching a lot of reruns of Criminal Minds lately, so I'm in like serial killer mode all the time.
Speaker A:The time right now.
Speaker A:So it just makes sense for this episode to be about a serial abductor slash killer.
Speaker A:So the butterfly is what he has named him.
Speaker A:And he targets those who won't be missed.
Speaker A:And the victims just disappear and they've never found a body.
Speaker B:That's concerning.
Speaker B:That's concerning.
Speaker B:So from there we cut over to the motel and Dean is very excited to set up his CB radio while Sam mocks him for it.
Speaker A:And he is looking for the 411 on his Alice in Wonderland.
Speaker A:And I'm just like, truckers are gross.
Speaker A:And so the.
Speaker A:The immediate response is just gross.
Speaker A:And Sam also, like, beyond mocking him.
Speaker A:Like, the re.
Speaker A:One of the reasons this thing gets stupid is like, the whole thing is stupid because maybe with the real feds there, they should back down because they just like, got off the fed's radar and maybe they don't want to get back on them.
Speaker A:And so the valid point, right?
Speaker A:And Dean's just like, no, you're moping.
Speaker A:And I know that because you slept in and you turned down pancakes.
Speaker B:I mean, yeah.
Speaker B:And you know, it's.
Speaker B:And he calls out that Sam knows.
Speaker B:He knows that Sam's upset between losing Jack and not normal mom is he's just.
Speaker B:You can't let it eat you up.
Speaker B:Which the only way out is through.
Speaker B:So we're gonna do the work, and then we'll find Jack and we'll save mom.
Speaker B:But right now, Donna needs our help.
Speaker B:So all of a sudden, we hear a woman's voice on the.
Speaker B:On the CB and paging Midnight Rider, as Dean called himself.
Speaker B:And Felix wants to meet at noon at a diner.
Speaker B:And Sam, Dean's like, cool, I'm gonna go do that tomorrow.
Speaker B:And you hang back in case something else breaks.
Speaker B:So, yeah.
Speaker B:So we have Too Good to Be True by Lawn Rogers and the Soul Blenders playing.
Speaker B:And we see Wendy blindfolded and tied to a chair while our creepy leather mask.
Speaker B:Butchery.
Speaker B:Dude.
Speaker B:I don't know, remove calling him the Carver in some.
Speaker A:Some reference thing.
Speaker A:But I call him the butcher, the torturer a lot.
Speaker A:So just kind of.
Speaker A:I got to go back and forth on it because he's got a mask.
Speaker A:He's got steampunk goggles and a butcher's apron on.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:And he takes off his mask, and she screams, and he screams back, which I think is funny.
Speaker A:Funny.
Speaker B:And then he's mocking her.
Speaker A:He's mocking her screaming.
Speaker A:But it's just the way he did it.
Speaker A:But.
Speaker A:So he makes fun of her being scared and crying.
Speaker A:And then he sets a camera up and signs for her to smile, and instead she begs for help.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Oh.
Speaker B:So back wherever they're hanging out doing their research, it's Agent Clegg is showing Donna.
Speaker A:Oh, it's a police station.
Speaker B:Are they in the police station?
Speaker A:They're at the police station.
Speaker A:And that's like.
Speaker A:Part of this is like, so I wonder about Clegg.
Speaker A:And this is, you know, and something to think about.
Speaker B:The.
Speaker A:Like, Clegg's credentials as, like, an FBI agent.
Speaker A:Like, after you watch a whole episode, kind of think about them because they're in a police station.
Speaker A:They're not in a federal office, but they're also in a small town.
Speaker A:So it's a smelly small town that doesn't have a federal.
Speaker A:An office for them to meet at, probably because when Sam comes in, he's late and he has a visitor's bag.
Speaker A:So clearly he's given an ID to someone.
Speaker A:And so he has gone through, like.
Speaker A:So he's given his.
Speaker A:What I'm assuming is his fed credentials.
Speaker A:But if it's a police station, that it makes sense because he could use his fake fed badge.
Speaker A:And it wouldn't be.
Speaker A:It would just be like, you go on Through.
Speaker A:If it was the federal.
Speaker A:This was an FBI office, we would be having a whole different conversation.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker B:For sure.
Speaker B:So, yeah.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:So that's where they're at, is the police station.
Speaker A:So that's Sam comes in.
Speaker A:Clegg has been on Wendy's credit card trail.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:And he gives Sam his giant binder of 12 years of his potential.
Speaker B:Yes.
Speaker B:And he is like, this truck stop is where, you know, Wendy was.
Speaker B:And we have the can, you know.
Speaker B:You know, and I also have a do.
Speaker B:I do have a short list of potential suspects, but I've never been able to get concrete evidence to bring them in until now.
Speaker B:And this one of the suspects was.
Speaker B:Is also there.
Speaker B:And we cut to see boots and shackles and a man holding the Bible.
Speaker B:It's our pastor Diamond.
Speaker B:Don Hankey.
Speaker A:It's Pastor Hankey.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:So why did you think that Pastor Hanky would be anything but disgusting?
Speaker A:Because his name is Pastor Hanky.

Speaker B:And so from there we cut back to this diner where Dean is meeting the woman that called back on the radio.

Speaker B:And basically she's the one we saw.
Speaker B:That's who the pastor was talking about her earlier.
Speaker A:She's got a cool mohawk.
Speaker A:She seemed like a cool.
Speaker A:She seemed like a cool chicken.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:And she's like, look, I saw Wendy twice that night.
Speaker B:First I saw her at the diner.
Speaker B:And then she explains that she saw Wendy broken down side of the road and did not stop.
Speaker A:She was the truck that drove by,.
Speaker B:Drove past her and she regrets it, but she was late and Da, da, da.
Speaker B:And she should have stopped because that.
Speaker B:And she knows that that place gives her the creeps.
Speaker B:Talking about the diner.
Speaker A:So.
Speaker B:All right, so now we know who's driving the truck that kept going.
Speaker B:And they've also placed Wendy at those two locations.
Speaker B:So Sam is trying to talk to our pastor and ask him about why he was at the diner.
Speaker B:And you know, does he.
Speaker B:Has he seen Wendy and all this kind of stuff and he's just really being non.
Speaker B:Not particularly responsive and reacting at all.
Speaker B:And so Agent Clegg's like, well, what about this victim too?
Speaker B:And our pastor says that the girl is vaguely familiar and then makes a.
Speaker B:A barely veiled racist comment about the other person and then asks for a Lawyer.
Speaker B:Because he knows his rights.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:And Clegg doesn't care about his rights.
Speaker A:And Donna comes in and asked to talk to him.
Speaker A:And then we go from there back to Manny's truck.
Speaker A:Truck stop, where Doug comes and meets Dean.
Speaker A:He's got a report on incidents at Manny's.
Speaker A:Nothing crazy, but many public urinations.
Speaker A:And Doug has a question for Dean, and he wants to know, is Donna gonna be okay?
Speaker A:And she's barely talking to Doug, and they always talk about the Vikings, about Real Housewives, but he thinks that she's hiding something.
Speaker A:And Dean tells Doug that he has to trust Donna.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:And be there for her and trust her.
Speaker B:So.
Speaker B:All right, so we've got.
Speaker B:Donna is now going to lead the interrogation of our pastor.
Speaker B:And she opens with a Bible quote about lawyers.
Speaker B:Because she's like, why are you asking for one?
Speaker B:The Bible doesn't have very nice things to say about lawyers.
Speaker B:But he's like, no, no, he still wants one.
Speaker B:And so she's just going to continue.
Speaker B:She's just going to bulldoze past that and start asking him questions.
Speaker B:And she points out that being a Friday night in a small town, you might be lucky to get a public defender on Monday.
Speaker B:And you're going to be here all weekend with a bunch of big dudes in that cell that are going to.
Speaker A:Do whatever they do to pastors in that.
Speaker A:In that cell.
Speaker A:And so he's like, okay, maybe I can answer a few questions.
Speaker A:And before we get to his questions, we go back to Manny's, where Doug and Dean have gotten out of the car, and the guy from earlier who asked if the windshield's washed comes over, and he's got.
Speaker A:He's got his squeaker again.
Speaker A:And he's just like, hey, do you want.
Speaker A:They're like, no.
Speaker A:Like, but have you seen this girl?
Speaker A:They pay him, and he tells him she was there a couple of nights ago.
Speaker A:And he actually seems like kind of a nice guy.
Speaker A:Like, once he starts talking, and you're like, oh, okay.
Speaker A:You're just really serious.
Speaker A:You need to clean someone's windshield for a dollar.
Speaker A:I go school.
Speaker A:And so.
Speaker A:And he.
Speaker A:And he tells him that Marlon the cashier liked her.
Speaker A:And so now we're kind of like, oh, yeah, I knew he was creepy.
Speaker A:And apparently Marlon closed up after she left and drove off after her and.
Speaker B:Didn't come back till dawn.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker B:So Donna is continuing her interrogation, and she's asking the pastor how long he's been on the road.
Speaker B:Guesses, 12 years.
Speaker B:And then asks if he's A family man.
Speaker B:And apparently he's married and has two kids.
Speaker B:And she's like, well, do they know about the girl you flashed outside of Cheyenne or about the teen boy that you picked up hitchhiking?
Speaker B:And he's like.
Speaker B:Makes his.
Speaker B:Like, I'm weak in the center, but my wife knows and we're working through it.
Speaker B:And Donna's obviously icked out, but she's like.
Speaker B:So she shows.
Speaker B:She throws the bloody shirt at him and wants to know if his wife knows about this.
Speaker B:Her niece that was found in his van.
Speaker B:And he looks confused and kind of upset.
Speaker A:But then, like, she goes all vengeance and yells at him, don't lie to me.
Speaker A:Don't lie to God.
Speaker A:And she just makes him start crying.
Speaker A:And he's just like, I am so afraid of Donna right now.
Speaker A:And he's like, but I've never hurt anybody.
Speaker A:And so then they go back behind the glass, and Sam and Donna both agree that the shirt doesn't make any sense.
Speaker A:And they don't think that this preacher is the one who hurt Wendy.
Speaker A:So maybe somebody planted it, but that's just weird.
Speaker A:So somebody planted the truck stop, but okay, super weird.
Speaker B:But yeah.
Speaker B:So she.
Speaker B:She.
Speaker B:She broke.
Speaker B:She broke the preacher.
Speaker B:And so Dean and Doug are at go inside Manny's, and Marlon's starting, like, kind of dozing off at the counter with his big rig magazine, not nearly as entertaining this time.
Speaker B:And Dean asks where.
Speaker B:He holds up a photo of Wendy and says, where is she?
Speaker B:And he makes some icky, like, yum noises.
Speaker B:And then he doesn't know where she is.
Speaker B:So Dean slams his head into the counter repeatedly.
Speaker B:But.
Speaker A:And when Doug objects, Dean says, this is how we do things in the FBI.
Speaker A:And he's like, it is, yeah.
Speaker B:And then finally Marlon's like, look, you won't believe me if I tell you.
Speaker B:So we.
Speaker B:Marlin goes and logs onto a computer with Dean and Doug watching.
Speaker B:And we see a video stream that has.
Speaker B:We see Luis Fernando strapped to a bloody metal table and a lot of personal details and stats listed about him.
Speaker B:And they are auctioning off his left arm.
Speaker B:Currently at $230 with 21 seconds to go.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker B:WTF?
Speaker B:WTF?
Speaker B:WTF?
Speaker A:And some of the.
Speaker A:The.
Speaker A: Some of the bidders include K: Speaker A:And Neil before Todd too, of course.
Speaker B:So it says it's like ebay kinda.
Speaker B:And the bidding ends at $365 for his left arm.
Speaker B:And then our butcher guy approaches with a little motorized spot saw and starts cutting off Lewis's arm.
Speaker B:And Doug looks away.
Speaker B:Marlin smiles.
Speaker B:And Dean just looks like serious face.
Speaker B:Dean.
Speaker B:But as after this, a little time passes.
Speaker B:Donna and Sam arrive at Manny's.
Speaker B:And Dean is explaining that the action ended 30 minutes ago.
Speaker B:And he makes Marlon rewind.
Speaker B:I'm just gonna say there's no way you'd be allowed to rewind that, right?
Speaker B:Like, there wouldn't be a way to do that unless you were like, to like a screen capture.
Speaker B:There have to be like a safeguard on something like that, right?
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker A:He would have to have been recording the screen.
Speaker A:He wouldn't just be able to.
Speaker A:Well, I mean, unless.
Speaker A:Just depending on how his.

Speaker B:He just sees someone that wouldn't be missed, and he sends a message and he gets paid.

Speaker B:And now all of a sudden, there is a new auction loading.
Speaker B:And it is Wendy.
Speaker B:And the opening bid for her left foot is $200 in one hour.

Speaker A:Now they have a timer.
Speaker A:They're the thing to go.
Speaker A:And Dean wants to know is Sam could hack the server.
Speaker A:And Sam says that the feed is on an encrypted Tor server.
Speaker A:It's dark web stuff.
Speaker A:Even if he could hack it, it would take days.
Speaker A:Who could crack it in an hour?
Speaker A:The FBI could.
Speaker A:And I'm sorry.
Speaker A:No, they couldn't.
Speaker A:That's not how the that's not how Tor works.
Speaker A:It's not how the dark web works.
Speaker A:It's not how thing works at all.
Speaker A:We're going to talk about how things work.
Speaker A:Kind of.
Speaker A:This is lore.
Speaker A:And so this episode has human body parts being auctioned off on the dark web for monsters dietary needs.
Speaker A:And while the trafficking in purpose for the purpose of organ removal is a growing form of trafficking, most dark web marketplaces mainly sell drugs and malware, not organs or people.
Speaker A:Stories of people being trafficked over the dark web are usually much exaggerated or misreported.
Speaker A:And would take the case of British glamour model chloe ailing.
Speaker A: In: Speaker A:And when an Italian photographer named Andre Lazio emailed about asking to book a motorbike photo shoot with Chloe, there was nothing about the request that seemed out of the ordinary.
Speaker A:Phil told the Mirror, I carried out due diligence, asked questions about the job, checked his website, asked where and when the shoot would take place, got the address of the studio and checked examples of his previous work.
Speaker A:All the boxes were ticked.
Speaker A:I would have been doing this job for.
Speaker A:I've been doing this job for 30 years and I always carry out checks because there's no way you could predict something like this.
Speaker A:His studio was called Balice Mafique.
Speaker A:I even checked the address in Google Maps.
Speaker A:Chloe was more than happy to take the job and he paid €900 up front.
Speaker A:So Chloe trots off to Paris.
Speaker A:But as luck would have it for her, she arrived just as a terror attack occurred and all hell was breaking loose.
Speaker A:The photographer called to cancel the shoot, saying his studio had been ransacked in the chaos for his trouble for her trouble.
Speaker A:The photographer even went by Chloe's hotel to give her €90 for the day.
Speaker A:A couple of days later, an email with an apology came to Phil and the photographer asked to book Chloe for Milan on July 11, asking for her measurements so they could have leathers made.
Speaker A:So once again, nothing seems out of sorts.
Speaker A:This is all seems legit.
Speaker A:Chloe goes to Milan, stays a night in a hotel, and the next day goes to the studio.
Speaker A:As she stepped into the space, her instinct that something was wrong was confirmed when a masked man grabbed her and covered her mouth with a gloved hand.
Speaker A:He then pinned her around the neck.
Speaker A:A second man rushed in, wrestled her to the ground and injected her hand with a syringe, what was later said to be ketamine.
Speaker A:Chloe awoke in total darkness with tape across her mouth, which she was able to peel off with her handcuffed hands.
Speaker A:And she soon sussed out that she was inside a bag.
Speaker A:And she found a way to get a little hole.
Speaker A:There was like a hole in the zipper.
Speaker A:So she found a way to get the zipper open only to realize to her horror that she was in the trunk of a moving car.
Speaker A:So she starts pounding on the car.
Speaker A:The car comes to a stop, the attackers come back out, they re tape her mouth when she was like, what's going on?
Speaker A:Put her back in the trunk.
Speaker A:Car starts going again and then it stops a second time.
Speaker A:And this time one of the men get out and they get into the trunk with her and they like spoon her.
Speaker A:I don't know why that grosses me out so much.
Speaker A:Like he doesn't even do anything sexual to her as far as I know.
Speaker A:He just spoons her.
Speaker A:But I don't like it.
Speaker A:So the destiny, it was like a 200 mile drive from Milan.
Speaker A:So I don't know how long this poor girl had to be spooned.
Speaker A:So at the farmhouse, one of her captors.
Speaker A:Lukash.
Speaker A:It's Lucas.
Speaker A:So it's L U K A S Z is he's Polish.
Speaker A:Lukash.
Speaker A:Herba told Chloe that she had been kidnapped by two foot soldiers from the Black Death and that as a senior member of Black Death, he had come to rescue her because her kidnapping was a mistake.
Speaker A:Mistake.
Speaker A:You see, the Black Death doesn't believe in kidnapping mothers and she has a son.
Speaker A:He also said he was risking his life to help her and she shouldn't, shouldn't try to escape because there were Black Death agents everywhere watching her.
Speaker A:So to further restrain her, she was handcuffed to furniture at first, but by the second night, Herba offered Chloe his bed to sleep in, minus the handcuffs, and she said yes.
Speaker A:Chloe said at this time her main goal was to get Herba to feel sorry for her.
Speaker A:And his feelings became more and more obvious when he asked if they could become a couple.
Speaker A:And Chloe dangled.
Speaker A:Maybe when I'm released, which only further excited him.
Speaker A:He told Chloe they had met before in that hotel in Paris or he paid for that fake for that photo shoot.
Speaker A:And she didn't recognize him then because he was wearing sunglasses.
Speaker A:He asked Chloe who could pay a ransom for her and she came up with some, some names and he started emailing her agent, Phil.
Speaker A:Chloe's mom became worried when she didn't hear anything from her and she frantically called Phil too.
Speaker A:He reached out to the photographer, didn't get anything.
Speaker A:Back.
Speaker A:And then he received a ransom email which said, we have Chloe and we are the Black Death Group.
Speaker A:Unless you pay money to us by Sunday, she will be put to auction where she may get sold to the Russian mafia.
Speaker A:The email also contained the names of three wealthy businessmen whose names Phil thought Chloe had given them.
Speaker A:Phil reached out to the authorities and they took over emailing the kidnappers.
Speaker A:The kidnappers sent a picture of Chloe passed out in the floor and only her pink bodysuit and clearly drugged out.
Speaker A:The kidnappers demanded £270,000, but the police said they could only do £20,000.
Speaker A:Back at the farmhouse, Urban told them about this offer was made and said that it wasn't enough money, but he would let her go if she promised that she would send €50,000 in bitcoin and help publicize the Black Death as a leading terror organization.
Speaker A:When she was released and she was like, what?
Speaker A:I don't understand.
Speaker A:But okay, whatever, just let me go.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:So he drives her to the consulate in Milan, but it was closed, so they went and got breakfast.
Speaker A:And there was witnesses who saw them having breakfast together and said it looks kind of like a normal meal.
Speaker A:Laughter and things going on.
Speaker A:But okay, so the consulate, was the consulate open?
Speaker A:He walked Chloe in, telling Chloe to say that he was a friend, that she had called to pick her up after escaping from her kidnappers.
Speaker A:And the police are like, okay, well what's his phone number?
Speaker A:And she's like, oh crap.
Speaker A:So she couldn't come up with it.
Speaker A:So she ends up breaking down and she tells him the whole story, most of it.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:She left out the part where she and Herba went shopping in the village for shoes, where they were seen holding hands.
Speaker A:Hands.
Speaker B:Oh, yeah.
Speaker A:So Harper was arrested.
Speaker A:He was phone his mother to try and get her to erase his emails and destroy his car.
Speaker A:He gave her his password, which was twat.
Speaker A:Twat1.
Speaker A:No, it's just my favorite password.
Speaker A:Ever so bad.
Speaker A:Okay, so he was not successful in hiding any evidence, obviously.
Speaker A:The prosecution brought in more than 50 witnesses, including those who testified that before the kidnapping they had seen her pine to science up some ricin and cyanide at home, all while performing searches on his computer for Chloe ailing Black Death and sex trafficking.
Speaker A:He also texted his brother, buy a big trip bag, very big, you know for what purpose it serves, so you know how big it should be.
Speaker A:He's not very smart.
Speaker A:So Chloe would be kept in Italy for another three weeks by the court at Urbis pre trial hearing.
Speaker A:Chloe would finally learn the truth.
Speaker A:That he was not in the Black Death, he was the one who had planned everything.
Speaker A:And the other accomplice was his brother.
Speaker B:Yeesh.
Speaker A:During his trial, Herbert would try and explain that Chloe was in on it the whole time, that she was in financial straits and this was for publicity.
Speaker A:But there was no evidence to support this.
Speaker A:There was no Facebook messages, no emails or text messages between them.
Speaker A:Harper would be described by prosecutors as a narcissist and a fantasist who was obsessed with Ms. Ailing.
Speaker A:And.
Speaker A:And he would be sentenced to 16 years for kidnapping, extortion and carrying false documents, which would be reduced on appeal.
Speaker A:But his insinuation of Chloe being an accomplice would soon be echoed by the press.
Speaker A:Why was Chloe seen holding hands with him in the village?
Speaker A:Why would she go shopping with her captor?
Speaker A:Why was she smiling for cameras instead of crying?
Speaker A:She did a lot of.
Speaker A:She did a lot of interviews when she came back.
Speaker A:And Chloe attributes some of this to a recent autism diagnosis and said that she would react in the wrong way.
Speaker A:And she said if I told I was being off I would smile and just had the wrong reactions to things.
Speaker A:So she thinks she was just like not acting correct in front of the camera and the tabloids were just using that as further fodder for like why she was wrong.
Speaker A:So.
Speaker B:And Stockholm syndrome maybe, kind of sort of.
Speaker A:And a lot of naivety too.
Speaker A:Like she thought this guy was in a.
Speaker A:In a.
Speaker A:That this was a terrorist group and.
Speaker B:That he was the one that was going to help her get away and.
Speaker A:That there was a ton of people that were out to kill, you know, out to kill her and her family.
Speaker A:Family, right.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:So Chloe dumped her agent, Phil Green, once she got back to the uk.
Speaker A:He said, I wish her all the best, but I hope this doesn't come back to bite her.
Speaker A:He said to the Mirror.
Speaker A:Chloe says that this was for.
Speaker A:Because he compromised her safety, not for ambition.
Speaker A:Chloe would publish a book and then go on Celebrity big brother lasting 13 days and being the second contestant voted out.
Speaker A:Chloe's story would become a six part BBC series, kidnap the Chloe ailing story and the BBC documentary Chloe ailing My Unbelievable Kidnapping Napping.
Speaker A:Irma would claim to have been in love with Chloe and he did all this to boost her fame.
Speaker A:His brother Michael would be arrested, convicted to 16 years and eight months, which is actually longer than his brother sit in.
Speaker A:So just kind of up.
Speaker A:And that was later reduced to five years and eight months.
Speaker A:And one of the consequences of this kidnapping are a number of sites that indicate that Chloe was abducted by a gang called Black Death Death and that they sell people, particularly women on the dark web.
Speaker A:CNN ran the headline British model kidnapped for dark web option Italian police say.
Speaker A:And Fox News had British model kidnapped in Italy to be auctioned off on pornographic website on the dark web.
Speaker A:And these claims were untrue.
Speaker A:The sun reported that the Black Death group had advertised option for girls in Europe.
Speaker A:Vice has tried to interact with an online Black Death after finding a link on Reddit only to be jerked around.
Speaker A:And that site wanted money to be paid before letting a user participate in auction for advertised women for sale.
Speaker A: In: Speaker A: pol investigated the group in: Speaker A: website called Black Death in: Speaker A:They also posted jobs for positions like super hacker.
Speaker A:And there is no evidence that any of these listings were real or just scams.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:So like with, with the Vice people, they're basically saying, you know, here, you know, they're like, you have to buy your way into this auction.
Speaker A:So likely just being like give us your money and then you're never going to get the look to the auction, right?
Speaker B:Wouldn't it be really embarrassing for someone who was a super hacker to get get scammed by applying to the super hacker job?
Speaker A:I, I just would like to know what the super hacker job job interview was, you know, that would be really great.
Speaker B:It's just a scam and there wasn't even like a really job like damn super hacker should have known.
Speaker A:Super hackers should have known.
Speaker A:You would think they would.
Speaker A:So Buzzfeed quoted Wilker, director of vulnerabilities at the National Crime Agency.
Speaker A:From an economic standpoint, the sex trafficking business model simply does not make sense.
Speaker A:On the dark web web traffickers are motivated by money and therefore want to reach the largest audience possible in order to maximize revenue.
Speaker A:There is simply not enough of the general population on the dark web to make the dark web advertising for this purpose.
Speaker A:In addition, sex trafficking usually masquerades as at will prostitution, making it easy for this content to live largely on the public web.
Speaker A:Child porn content on the other hand, is exchanged in much more closed circles, making a better candidate for dispersal on the dark web web.
Speaker A:So, and from what I understand of just what's happening now, most of the trafficking is happening over social media.
Speaker A:It's happening over regular websites and over things encrypted Signal thing, encrypted messaging apps like Telegram where you know, that's been going on for, for years.
Speaker A:And most it's just like they like that guy said it doesn't make economic sense to traffic people on the Dark Web.
Speaker A:So when you see the sites being like, oh, there's a woman being auctioned off in the Dark Web.
Speaker A:And that's probably not true.
Speaker A:I'm not saying that sex trafficking isn't true and obvious and that it doesn't happen over the Internet.
Speaker A:I'm also not saying that the Dark Web is not used for.
Speaker A:There's also used for a lot of things including a lot of sexual exploitation material.
Speaker A:So a lot of the content producing of, you know, basically only fans being for people being forced to do.
Speaker A:To do things like those content.
Speaker A:Subscription models is really prevalent and people are using cryptocurrencies and other things in order to buy those and keep.
Speaker A:Keep themselves anonymous.
Speaker A:So it's definitely a problem.
Speaker A:However, and not only that, of course, you monsters are not online buying food.
Speaker A:They just the.
Speaker A:The TV trope of the Dark Web, like they're auctioning off, you know, selling off people.
Speaker A:Selling off people is not something that has ever been proven to have been happened.
Speaker A:I'm saying it's never happened, at least.
Speaker B:At a prevalent level.
Speaker A:Yeah, there's a distance, just there's no evidence of it ever happening.
Speaker B:That makes sense though, what you're saying.
Speaker B:Yeah, I didn't find it if you think about it that way.
Speaker A:Yeah, it's just, you know, and of, of the.
Speaker A:In you.
Speaker A:It's not that hard to.
Speaker A:It's like the Dark Web is not a mystical fairyland.
Speaker A:It's really easy to see what's on there in almost all the marketplaces.
Speaker A:Like I almost said the story on a couple of, couple of different marketplaces.
Speaker A:But you can find out what's.
Speaker A:What's on the Dark Web.
Speaker A:On the clear Web.
Speaker A:You can just Google search and just do tour markets and it'll give you a breakdown of like what the top markets are and what they're selling on them.
Speaker A:And you can just go look at that.
Speaker A:And most of it is just going to be drugs and crimeware and like that.
Speaker B:So I recently saw an old episode of Portlandia and they went and they would use the Dark Web.
Speaker A:And it was pretty dark web.
Speaker A:So I just love the Stewart and the Dark Web on Stuart.

Speaker B:While this is all happening, Marlon starts talking.
Speaker A:He also.
Speaker A:There's a lot of hers.
Speaker A:It's like, you sent me a video where people are being sold, and you don't expect me to show up.

Speaker A:And I'm like, that is true.
Speaker A:I was like, you know what?
Speaker A:Fair if someone said, like, I'm gonna show up to that like this.

Speaker B:And so Marlon starts just talking shit to Doug and, like, talking about how dawn is out of his league.
Speaker B:We get a cut from that to our butcher dude.

Speaker B:And he is sharpening a knife while Wendy screams.
Speaker A:And she is in now a very bloody, dirty dress.

Speaker A:So they follow the sounds, and they get to a room, and there's a radio.
Speaker B:And the lights are real flickery, but yes.

Speaker B:Back in the holding area, Marlin tells Doug, by the way, I'm a monster and he's a vampire.
Speaker A:Yep.
Speaker A:He unfortunately turns into a vampire, breaks his handcuffs, and goes after Doug.
Speaker B:Yeah, Doug loses his gun right away.
Speaker B:And then Marlon feeds his blood to Doug.
Speaker B:Oh, no.
Speaker B:And while that's happening, Clegg knocks out Sam.
Speaker B:What the Is happening?
Speaker B:So Donna and Dean find Doug.
Speaker B:Oh, my gosh.
Speaker B:That's a lot of find Dean.
Speaker B:And he has fangs.
Speaker B:And he does not think he's okay.
Speaker B:So.
Speaker B:Because he is hungry.
Speaker B:So he attacks Donna.
Speaker B:And Dean is conveniently, smartly, but conveniently carrying some dead man's blood that he is immediately able to shoot Doug up with and knocks him out.
Speaker B:And he's not concerned because there is a cure since Doug hasn't fed yet.
Speaker B:So he's just gonna fix it up.
Speaker A:And Marlon has reappeared.
Speaker A:Tells Dean that he's been got by Clegg and that he has Sam.
Speaker A:And wouldn't you like to know where Sam is?
Speaker C:Is.
Speaker A:And Dean pulls out his machete, says, bring it, Twilight.
Speaker A:But Donna shoots Marlon in the knee first.
Speaker A:And she tells Dean to get his blood and mix up the cure because she's not taking any.
Speaker A:She's not having any more of this.
Speaker A:She just asked Marlon where Quag is.
Speaker A:Marlon says she's just going to kill him.
Speaker A:And she said she's killing him either way.
Speaker A:He just needs to decide if he wants it fast or if he wants it slow.
Speaker B:Donna's got some good bad bitch energy in this episode.
Speaker A:She does so.
Speaker B:So we cut to where Clegg is in a.
Speaker B:They're in a different room.
Speaker B:It's like a weird tiled room, but they're.
Speaker B:He's telling his butcher dude how to frame the shot because Sam's a big man and he is.
Speaker B:Sam is tied to the table.
Speaker B:And Clegg explains that he knows who Sam and Dean are.
Speaker B:He recognized baby right away.
Speaker C:Guys.
Speaker B:That car has gotten them into trouble before you.
Speaker A:You know, I mean, it's just.
Speaker A:What you gonna do?
Speaker A:Like, you're the Winchesters.

Speaker B:But basically the ones that apparently that Sam and Dean get are ones that.

Speaker A:And then we go from there to.
Speaker B:Baby, where Donna's in the backseat feeding Doug the cure out of a.
Speaker B:Out of a bowl while Dean drives.
Speaker B:And Dean lets her know that the cure worked on him.
Speaker B:I don't know if she knew that.
Speaker A:Well, she does now.
Speaker A:Well, in the meantime, Sam's liver just sold for $5,000.
Speaker A:And, I mean, I don't know if I would pay $5,000 for a Winchester liver.
Speaker B:I mean, and that's kind of definitely not Dean's.
Speaker A:Definitely not Dean's.
Speaker A:But Sam's is pretty up, too.
Speaker A:Like, I don't know if I want his live liver.
Speaker A:In fact, I'm not sure I want any body parts off of Winchester.

Speaker A:And at first it's 50k and then it's 100k, and then it's $500,000.

Speaker B:And then Clegg's like, usually we do this part slowly, but Dean's out there, so.
Speaker B:And he points a pistol at Sam's head.

Speaker B:And we pan over to the camera, and we hear a gunshot.

Speaker B:Blood seeping through a white shirt which Sam was wearing and Clegg was wearing.
Speaker B:But Dean shot Clegg from behind.
Speaker B:Sam didn't get shot.
Speaker B:And Dean says, show's over.
Speaker A:And we go there from there, back to the cool motel.
Speaker A:And Donna is watching Doug wake up, but they've left handcuffs uncuffs on him just in case.
Speaker A:It is in case.
Speaker A:And he wakes up, and he doesn't want to bite anybody.
Speaker A:So Donna uncuffs him, and she tells Doug that he's going to be fine.
Speaker A:And he's like, I was a vampire.
Speaker A:I'm not fine.
Speaker A:Not gonna be fine.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:And Donna's like, yeah, for a couple hours.
Speaker B:And Dean's like, yeah, you know, it's.
Speaker B:You know, it's nice to.
Speaker B:Now that, you know, it's nice to have another good guy on our side.
Speaker B:And Doug's just like, no, no, no, no, no.
Speaker B:I can't live this life.
Speaker B:I just want to go home.
Speaker B:I became a cop to help people, but vampires, that's just.
Speaker B:This isn't my bag.
Speaker B:And Donna's like, fine, no, we'll go home.
Speaker B:I'm sorry for lying, but it's fine.

Speaker B:And Doug's just like, no.

Speaker A:He's off looking for.
Speaker B:Isn't he with.
Speaker B:No.
Speaker B:Didn't Asmodeus kidnap him and Lucifer together?
Speaker B:I think they think he's on a mission trying to.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker B:But he got kidnapped by Asmodeus.
Speaker A:Oh, that's right.
Speaker A:So we still have that going on in the background.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:We haven't seen him in several episodes now and then.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:So it's kind of a.
Speaker B:We haven't seen Jack in a couple episodes, but he's in the.
Speaker B:The apocalypse world with Mary.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:So, yeah, a lot to tie up.
Speaker B:I think that this really didn't.
Speaker B:You know, this.
Speaker B:The last.
Speaker B:This episode didn't really drive any of that forward.
Speaker B:But it was definitely showing Sam's emotional battle with it all.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:And so that we've.
Speaker A:We've swapped place on the emotional Winchester train and now it's Sam's turn to make me want to scream.
Speaker B:Yeah, that's fun.
Speaker A:Pull your head out of your ass, Winchester.
Speaker A:I don't know.
Speaker A:And we all.
Speaker A:I mean, but also feel your feelings, Sam.
Speaker A:You know, you're allowed to be.
Speaker A:You're allowed to grieve all these people that die.
Speaker A:Like Kaya dying is like a big thing.
Speaker A:And you shouldn't be processing these feelings and maybe not just running straight on into the next thing.
Speaker A:And maybe Sam's just.
Speaker A:Maybe he's not wrong.
Speaker A:Maybe it's time for them to get their feels out.
