Speaker A:

And time to throw away your peloton.

Speaker A:

The newest workout craze is here.

Speaker A:

Demon Solo Flex.

Speaker B:

And please consult your doctor if you experience any of the following symptoms of astral sleeping.

Speaker B:

Really heavy high blood pressure, accelerated heart rate, a negative premonition before you go to sleep.

Speaker B:

If you feel fear, bewilderment, or angry.

Speaker B:

If you wake up sweaty, wake up exhausted, or wake up with a higher temperature, please consult your doctor.

Speaker B:

Let's start this.

Speaker A:

Welcome to this week's episode of Devil's Trap podcast.

Speaker A:

This week, we're going to Talk Season 4, Episode 15, Death Takes a Holiday.

Speaker A:

But first, I'm Diana.

Speaker B:

I'm Liz.

Speaker B:

I think every week Diana is just changing our introduction to something new.

Speaker B:

And this time it was very.

Speaker B:

I am Diana.

Speaker B:

Welcome to this week's.

Speaker A:

I was feeling inspired by classical radio.

Speaker A:

Classical music radio.

Speaker B:

Okay, here we go.

Speaker A:

That's what I got.

Speaker A:

Sorry.

Speaker B:

The classical radio station that I listened to, and I listened to it, like, this morning.

Speaker B:

No, their voices aren't like that, but who knows?

Speaker B:

Anyways, what are you up to?

Speaker A:

I am sitting through a rainstorm.

Speaker A:

And no, nothing too exciting in my world right now.

Speaker A:

Just counting down to.

Speaker A:

I think we're all ready for a little holiday weekend.

Speaker A:

Speaking of Death Takes a Holiday.

Speaker A:

What?

Speaker A:

There we go.

Speaker A:

But no, yeah, we're just excited.

Speaker A:

I'm ready for summertime, and I don't have any major updates in my world.

Speaker A:

Tonight, I'm drinking a lovely cherry vanilla Coke Zero because nothing sounded good.

Speaker A:

So, yeah, I'm party mode.

Speaker A:

And over here.

Speaker B:

Hey, those are really hard to find.

Speaker A:

I know.

Speaker A:

And they had a 12 pack.

Speaker A:

I was very excited.

Speaker B:

I was like, you found it.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

I would be celebrating and drinking that.

Speaker B:

That's.

Speaker B:

That's a pretty impressive find.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Cherry vanilla.

Speaker A:

It's the best one, too.

Speaker A:

Honestly.

Speaker A:

Like, cherry's fine, vanilla's fine.

Speaker A:

But the cherry vanilla Coke Zero.

Speaker A:

On point.

Speaker A:

So there we go.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

So Coca Cola send us some.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

For Chisel.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

How about you?

Speaker A:

What's going on?

Speaker B:

I'm drinking, I guess what's kind of like an amaretto sour.

Speaker B:

Because I was looking through the liquor and I was like, what do I want?

Speaker B:

I was like, oh, amaretto.

Speaker B:

I'm like, oh, an amaretto sour.

Speaker B:

That would be good.

Speaker B:

And then I looked to see what an amaretto sour was.

Speaker B:

And then I saw that you have to make a simple syrup, which, you know, like, you're supposed to Dissolve, you know, the sugar, and then, like, mix in the lemon, the lime.

Speaker B:

And I. I have simple syrup.

Speaker B:

So I just mix lemon and lime with the simple syrup, which I think is the exact same thing, and then mix that with amaretto and Sprite.

Speaker B:

And so I. I feel like this is something like a sorority girl who was, like, 19 would drink the shit out of.

Speaker B:

Like, it's.

Speaker B:

So this is.

Speaker B:

This is like a Shirley Temple, and it's delicious and probably has, like, no alcohol content whatsoever.

Speaker B:

And that's fine.

Speaker A:

And it made me miss.

Speaker A:

Like, I haven't had, like.

Speaker A:

Like years ago, I worked at cigar shops, and we would have, like, a whiskey sour day.

Speaker A:

And, like, we would, like, make pictures of whiskey sours with Maker's Mark.

Speaker A:

I don't even know, like, whose idea that was.

Speaker A:

And just sit down and drink, like, drink those and smoke cigars and watch sports.

Speaker A:

It was a terrible job.

Speaker B:

I like part of that.

Speaker A:

Well, you know.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

But what else?

Speaker A:

Anything else in your world?

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

So today is my Monday, because we had a day off yesterday.

Speaker B:

A day for me, and.

Speaker B:

And I chose to spend that day for me going to a private trapeze lesson, which will.

Speaker B:

Which is really great because this is a Thunderbird episode.

Speaker B:

And I found a really great picture of her doing the same apparatus that I.

Speaker B:

Not, you know, that I chose to spend my day off on paying somebody to.

Speaker B:

To help me learn.

Speaker B:

And I learned.

Speaker B:

Like, I was really excited because I got a. I got a new entrance into it.

Speaker B:

But so for those of you who have not seen an aerial trapeze, it looks like kind of like the FL.

Speaker B:

Trapezes that you see, but it's got basically two ropes and a bar that hangs in it.

Speaker B:

So basically, you're doing things in and around that bar, like jumping on it on your stomach, and then flipping over it or, you know, hanging on it from your knees or jumping down to you, like, all sorts of things that a giant metal rod is basically beating you over and over again.

Speaker B:

And you also have two ropes that, you know, are tearing up your hands and.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And this is what you do for fun.

Speaker B:

I did it for fun.

Speaker B:

And it actually is.

Speaker B:

It is a lot of fun.

Speaker B:

But at the same time, I'm, like, driving home, like, oh, and today, like, any time I bend over, because I have, like, a massive bruise all the way across my stomach that looks.

Speaker A:

I was going to ask.

Speaker A:

I was like.

Speaker A:

I was like, this is it look like somebody took, like, beat you across the stomach repeatedly in the same spot with a metal pole, probably.

Speaker B:

Yep.

Speaker B:

It looks like somebody was trying to bypass Texas as abortion laws.

Speaker B:

Yeah, that's pretty much what it looks like.

Speaker B:

Oh, Diane is like, damn it.

Speaker B:

She said it.

Speaker B:

I set her up for that joke and I knew she was gonna go there.

Speaker B:

God, yeah.

Speaker B:

You brought that on yourself.

Speaker A:

You did.

Speaker B:

Anyways, so then.

Speaker B:

So basically that was yesterday.

Speaker B:

And this.

Speaker B:

I didn't do shit this weekend.

Speaker B:

I was so peopled out after coming back from a festival and then jumping right into so much work content.

Speaker B:

I had like three podcasts and like a webinar.

Speaker B:

And it's like, I don't want to talk to people anymore.

Speaker B:

I don't want to say anything.

Speaker B:

I want to stare at my cat.

Speaker A:

If you didn't know, Liz is like semi, like podcast famous.

Speaker A:

She's like guesting on all these other podcasts in her industry and it's super cool.

Speaker A:

There you go.

Speaker B:

It's weird.

Speaker B:

But anyway, so I didn't do anything all weekend except that.

Speaker B:

And then.

Speaker B:

So today was basically my Monday, which I learned from quickly when I sprayed myself in the face with ant spray because I was trying to fix the cat's problem.

Speaker B:

Like, it was.

Speaker B:

I was just like, fuck, Fuck.

Speaker B:

But at least like a very large.

Speaker A:

Happy your Monday.

Speaker A:

Oh, yeah, yeah.

Speaker A:

The glass.

Speaker B:

And so like the living room, like in the kitchen still smells like ant spray.

Speaker B:

But I don't know if I'm just like having like nightmare flashbacks every time I walk there.

Speaker A:

I'm like, it's just in your sinuses now because you sprayed yourself in the face.

Speaker B:

Yeah, it's just like attached to it.

Speaker B:

And it's just like, I'm just gonna.

Speaker B:

And it's that Zebo shit that's supposed to at least like it's non toxic.

Speaker B:

So I don't.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And I feel like you didn't have to make a poison.

Speaker A:

You didn't have to make a poison control call.

Speaker A:

That's what we know, right?

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

So at least there's that.

Speaker B:

Yay.

Speaker B:

So some news in Supernatural land or just, I guess Supernatural family land.

Speaker B:

So Big sky, it's come out that Jensen's going to be a regular in the third season of the ABC drama Big Sky.

Speaker A:

Have you watched that?

Speaker A:

I don't know what the premise is.

Speaker B:

I have.

Speaker B:

It sounds like it's something about Montana as my guess, ABC drama.

Speaker B:

And so.

Speaker B:

Okay, wait, wait, wait.

Speaker B:

This is from the Supernatural Wiki page, guys.

Speaker B:

So Big sky is based on the highway series of books by C.J.

Speaker B:

Box and created for TV by David E. Kelly.

Speaker B:

And so that's Chicago Hope.

Speaker B:

Alan McBeals.

Speaker B:

That dude, whatever.

Speaker B:

It follows an ex cop struggling to stay sober who sometimes works for a private detective agency.

Speaker B:

I don't know.

Speaker B:

There's the second season had something about a cartel.

Speaker B:

Anyways, he's going to play some guy named Bo Arlyn who is described as a confident and charming good old boy from Texas who will act as a temporary sheriff while Sheriff Tub recuperates from being shot.

Speaker B:

Yes, I went very Texas for that.

Speaker B:

Because you cannot say Sheriff Tubb without I don't give a shit if it's Montana.

Speaker A:

Yeah, rules.

Speaker A:

Rules are rules.

Speaker B:

So that should be interesting.

Speaker B:

And then Misha also has.

Speaker B:

He's been cast as Harvey Dent 2 face in the pilot for the TV show Gotham Knights on the CW and that's currently filming.

Speaker B:

obably premiere mid season in:

Speaker B:

I thought you would find this news interesting that one of the cars from that show.

Speaker B:

A black:

Speaker B:

What's stolen crime to a Cadillac?

Speaker B:

What?

Speaker B:

And I thought you would like to to know.

Speaker A:

Don't look in my garage.

Speaker A:

No, I'm just kidding.

Speaker A:

Teasing.

Speaker A:

Wish.

Speaker B:

Is there anything that you would like to tell me?

Speaker B:

Have you been to Toronto lately?

Speaker A:

No, I've actually never been to Canada and I'm okay with that for now anyways.

Speaker A:

But that's what I've got.

Speaker A:

But no, that car sounds fucking rad.

Speaker A:

I just want to see it anyways.

Speaker A:

But yeah, I have to look at that.

Speaker A:

And then of course I think we shared the trailer over the weekend on our stories.

Speaker A:

But the other big news in the supernatural world is that the trailer is officially out from CW on the Winchesters.

Speaker B:

And I think it looks okay.

Speaker A:

I thought there were pros and there are things as somebody that.

Speaker A:

So being only a little ways into the series itself, I feel like I'm going to get a lot more about their background than we have so far.

Speaker A:

Not probably a ton, but a little bit.

Speaker A:

Like we've gotten some good little tidbits so far.

Speaker A:

I just.

Speaker A:

It's just hard to get like to wrap my head around at this point I guess because I feel like I'm missing pieces.

Speaker A:

Does that make sense?

Speaker B:

Yeah, you're missing 10 seasons that happen in between.

Speaker B:

I can look at that trailer and there's all sorts of like things that are checking like in my head I'm like, okay, there's a bunker.

Speaker B:

There's this.

Speaker B:

There's this.

Speaker B:

There's men and letters.

Speaker B:

There's all.

Speaker B:

There's all these other things that you have no idea what I'M talking about.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

So it's hard, but, like.

Speaker A:

But I also started to wonder, like, between that and then the.

Speaker A:

There's something else.

Speaker A:

And I was like, are we with canon?

Speaker A:

I don't know.

Speaker A:

I've gotten a couple.

Speaker B:

Yeah, They've made it very.

Speaker B:

They have made it very clear that they.

Speaker B:

They basically have dissected canon and everything.

Speaker B:

Like, they're.

Speaker B:

They're shoehorning, whoring she Horri.

Speaker A:

I mean, I mean, well, I can relate.

Speaker B:

I mean, I. I often Shoehore.

Speaker A:

But I mean, shoehorning some of it in, you think?

Speaker B:

Yeah, to make it.

Speaker B:

To make it fit what.

Speaker B:

What becomes known.

Speaker B:

But, you know, I think they're introducing some fun new characters even.

Speaker A:

I saw if I agreed with that, even.

Speaker A:

Oh, God, I already forgot his name.

Speaker A:

Jesus Christ.

Speaker A:

But there was, like, one that was.

Speaker B:

Already just not in it.

Speaker B:

No, there's no Jesus Christ.

Speaker A:

Not Jesus.

Speaker B:

Although that would be really funny if you watch the way that Supernatural goes, if Jesus Christ appeared.

Speaker B:

But,.

Speaker A:

Yeah, it looks fun.

Speaker A:

It was just hard to attach to, I guess, at this point, because I think I need the foundation.

Speaker B:

And they were, you know, adding in a bunch of humor to it, which is an interesting take.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

Because Supernatural was never.

Speaker B:

Even though there was a ton of fun stuff in it, it's none of the trail.

Speaker B:

Like, it was never promoted that way.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker B:

You know, like, that.

Speaker B:

You would never see, like, the funny bits of it in, like a season four trailer or something, you know?

Speaker A:

Yeah, and it's interesting, too.

Speaker A:

I mean, obviously it has to be.

Speaker A:

Duh.

Speaker A:

But it very much looks like a period piece and it has to be, because obviously it takes place, you know, before.

Speaker B:

But also, I love that period.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

So, I mean, it's interesting.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

So, I mean, that's.

Speaker B:

I think it's gonna have cars that appeal to me.

Speaker B:

I think it's gonna have clothes that appeal to me.

Speaker A:

Get that.

Speaker A:

Get that.

Speaker A:

Get those with 60s 70s vibes.

Speaker B:

70S vibes and probably music that appeals to me because John really likes classic rock, so it would just be rock then.

Speaker B:

And so, like, I'm sure they'll just be like some.

Speaker B:

Some really good.

Speaker B:

Like, you know, there's some potential for really good.

Speaker B:

Good soundtracks in that.

Speaker A:

Yeah, no, I think, like I said, I'm not.

Speaker A:

I. I'm just kind of in a stuck spot being where I'm at in the series where I feel like I'd have to wait to finish the.

Speaker A:

The series before I watch personally.

Speaker A:

But you never know.

Speaker B:

We'll see.

Speaker B:

All right, so this episode, season four, episode 15, death takes a holiday.

Speaker B:

The title comes from a:

Speaker B:

Which I kind of want to see death fall in love.

Speaker B:

So, I mean, I think I want to go watch that.

Speaker B:

,:

Speaker B:

And we're back with him.

Speaker B:

And he did Crossroad Blues Dream, A Little Dream of Me and many others.

Speaker B:

But something I did not know, which I found out as I was kind of digging through him, is that he started off as a stunt guy and stunt guy and a stunt coordinator.

Speaker B:

And he was in really big movies like Apocalypse Now, Bound for Glory, Blues Brothers, like, either doing stunts or coordinating it.

Speaker B:

So I thought that was really cool.

Speaker B:

And this was written by Jeremy Carver.

Speaker B:

Some fun news on him.

Speaker B:

He is an executive producer on a new HBO Max series that's based on the Dead Boy Detectives from Neil Gaiman Sandman.

Speaker B:

And that was on the last season of Boom.

Speaker B:

Whoa, Whoa.

Speaker B:

Doom Patrol.

Speaker B:

Doom Patrol.

Speaker B:

Not Boom Patrol, which would be a different movie.

Speaker B:

It's probably a porn.

Speaker A:

I don't know that one.

Speaker A:

But I do like.

Speaker A:

I do love me some Neil guy.

Speaker A:

He was in Dallas last week and I missed it.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Mark Shepherd's in Doom Patrol.

Speaker B:

Jeremy Carver obviously wrote so very similar things to here.

Speaker B:

It's weird.

Speaker B:

I can't get through the thing.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker B:

I've tried, and I may just jump, like a season ahead.

Speaker B:

It's really weird, but it kind of goes along with where it comes from.

Speaker B:

But anyways, I'm very excited because Neil Gaiman.

Speaker A:

Hooray.

Speaker B:

So that'll be fun.

Speaker B:

So that's all our background stuff.

Speaker B:

So let's talk about the guys leaving Bison Bud's Bar, which I want to go to.

Speaker A:

Same.

Speaker A:

Same.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Two guys leaving the bar and they're talking about football and whatever, and.

Speaker A:

But it's fantasy football.

Speaker A:

So me, anyways, and some guy asked them for change, and they're like.

Speaker A:

And then the guy just pulls a gun and wants to mug them.

Speaker A:

And then he.

Speaker A:

Instead of waiting to get their wallets, he just shoots the guy, which is a terrible strategy.

Speaker B:

It's a very weird crime.

Speaker B:

It's very.

Speaker B:

I mean, get mugging, but it's a very weird way to mug somebod.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Anyway, first crime, it looks like you're not.

Speaker B:

You're not very good at it, so he runs off.

Speaker B:

But this guy, he's.

Speaker B:

Jim's on the Fine.

Speaker A:

He's on the ground, and you think he's going to Die.

Speaker A:

And his friend's about to start cpr, but he's not even bleeding.

Speaker A:

He's fine.

Speaker A:

So it's real weird.

Speaker A:

And they don't know how he's alive.

Speaker A:

So we cut from there right away to our Winchester brothers at a diner.

Speaker A:

And Sam has been talking to Bobby on the phone, talking about going to Greywell, Wyoming.

Speaker A:

And apparently it's a small town, but nobody's died in a week and a half between hospice.

Speaker B:

That weird?

Speaker B:

Like, yeah, so what?

Speaker B:

Like, people don't die every day?

Speaker B:

And he's like, no, no, no, no.

Speaker A:

That's weird.

Speaker B:

This is weird.

Speaker A:

Hospice muggings, things like that.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And locals are calling it a miracle, but Sam's like, assumes that it's something nasty.

Speaker A:

And he tells Dean to get his burger to go.

Speaker A:

But Dean hesitates.

Speaker A:

He's really like, eh.

Speaker B:

He's like.

Speaker B:

I'm also like, why can't this wait for me to finish my burger?

Speaker B:

Like, what the fuck?

Speaker B:

Like, it's gonna take me five minutes to finish eating this.

Speaker B:

Why do you want me to eat in the car?

Speaker A:

It's gonna be messy and my burger's gonna be cold and the bun's gonna be soggy.

Speaker A:

It's just fucking bullshit.

Speaker B:

What a burger.

Speaker A:

I do.

Speaker A:

I just had dinner too.

Speaker A:

I had a good dinner too.

Speaker A:

Now I want a burger.

Speaker B:

I'm trying very hard not to order delivery and for my wallet because jewelry is expensive and I really want to order a burger.

Speaker B:

I want Sonic real bad.

Speaker B:

I don't want a burger from Sonic, but I want Sonic and a burger.

Speaker A:

Fuck.

Speaker B:

Anyways, okay.

Speaker A:

But they do have tots at Sonic.

Speaker A:

Just saying.

Speaker A:

So.

Speaker A:

But.

Speaker A:

So now we get.

Speaker A:

Coming back from the previous episode, we get Dean asking Sam, well, do you really want me to go with you?

Speaker A:

Am I just going to hold you back?

Speaker A:

Sam gets real defensive.

Speaker B:

You're like, oh, you're being a little bitch.

Speaker B:

I get it.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

He's like, it was the siren.

Speaker A:

I just need you to get past it.

Speaker A:

Thought we were past this.

Speaker A:

So that they both being bitches.

Speaker A:

That's what it comes down to.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

So we cut.

Speaker A:

They.

Speaker A:

I guess they made it to Greybull, Wyoming, because they cut to.

Speaker A:

They're speaking to.

Speaker A:

Gosh, was it Joe?

Speaker B:

Jim.

Speaker A:

Jim.

Speaker A:

Sorry, Jim.

Speaker A:

Who?

Speaker A:

At his house.

Speaker A:

And he's got like a small child in the background and all that.

Speaker A:

They're basically claiming to be bloggers about religious stuff.

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker B:

They claim to be from FlooredByTheLord.com.

Speaker B:

Don't go to that site.

Speaker B:

It's infested with malware I'm just going to tell you that right now.

Speaker A:

Dean says, all God's glory.

Speaker A:

Fit to blog.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

They're asking about the miracle, about him surviving, being shot in the mugging.

Speaker A:

And the man's like, yeah, you know, I've got a bullet in my heart, but it's still pumping like a piston.

Speaker A:

And, you know, I haven't been a great guy.

Speaker A:

I haven't been a great dad, but this is my second chance.

Speaker A:

I feel like angels are watching over me and this is a good thing.

Speaker A:

And Sam's like, have you been to a crossroads lately?

Speaker A:

Yeah, he's.

Speaker A:

Have you met anyone with black or red eyes?

Speaker A:

Really awkward.

Speaker B:

Again, not smooth, but also this.

Speaker B:

Dean's like, he had a light bulb go off, so something's cooking.

Speaker B:

And Dean's head.

Speaker B:

When Sam.

Speaker B:

While Sam is just being an idiot.

Speaker B:

All right, so we go back to the motel.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And Dean's doing some research.

Speaker A:

And Sam walks in and he's like, yeah, we've got another one.

Speaker A:

You know, had cancer.

Speaker A:

His wife pulled the plug.

Speaker A:

And now they're out for anniversary with dinner with no signs of a deal that was taking place.

Speaker A:

So they, through the research, they figure out that 10 days ago, the last death that took place in this town was Cole Griffith.

Speaker A:

It's a kid.

Speaker A:

And Dean's like, maybe it could be miracles.

Speaker A:

Who knows?

Speaker A:

But Sam's like, but if there's no one around to carry the souls, that means there's no reaper.

Speaker A:

So now we got to figure out where our reaper is.

Speaker A:

So Sam's like, like, we gotta talk to this kid that died.

Speaker A:

Because maybe he knows where the fuck the reaper is.

Speaker A:

Because that's the last one.

Speaker A:

So they decided to go do a seance in the cemetery.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Dream date.

Speaker B:

They're in the cemetery doing spells.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

I knew.

Speaker A:

I was like, liz is gonna love this scene.

Speaker B:

I do.

Speaker B:

I'm very jealous that they got to do this.

Speaker B:

And Dean does think this job is whack.

Speaker A:

It's whack.

Speaker B:

Well.

Speaker A:

And I kind of.

Speaker A:

Well.

Speaker A:

Well, I get.

Speaker A:

I get his moral dilemma.

Speaker A:

He has an ethical dile.

Speaker A:

Just.

Speaker B:

He uses the word whack.

Speaker A:

Oh, okay.

Speaker B:

That word is terrible.

Speaker B:

But, like, Even in the 90s, it was.

Speaker B:

It was never a good word.

Speaker B:

Whack.

Speaker B:

Should never.

Speaker A:

Wiggity.

Speaker A:

Wiggity whack.

Speaker B:

It's wiggity whack.

Speaker B:

Right?

Speaker B:

Basically, it's like, yeah, good people are going to die, and.

Speaker B:

But then we get into this whole, like, really fun debate, which I like, because Dean's all, you know, hey, we're the poster boys of unnatural order.

Speaker B:

All we do is like, unnatural.

Speaker B:

Yeah, that's.

Speaker B:

That's kind of what we do.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Because Sam's like, natural order.

Speaker A:

He's like, nothing we do is natural.

Speaker B:

It's.

Speaker A:

It's unnatural.

Speaker A:

Yeah, well, and.

Speaker B:

But then Sam's like, normal rules don't apply to us.

Speaker B:

And you tell.

Speaker B:

This makes Dean very, very uncomfortable.

Speaker B:

Because Dean just wants to be normal.

Speaker B:

He's like, what?

Speaker B:

What normal?

Speaker B:

This is fine.

Speaker B:

And then Sam's like, you're not Joe the plumber.

Speaker B:

And then Dean's like, we was douche.

Speaker A:

Not wrong, but.

Speaker A:

And then.

Speaker A:

So they've gone through this argument which.

Speaker A:

Which is a very fair point though, is that like, Dean can pretend like they're just normal guys running around saving folks.

Speaker A:

They're not, obviously.

Speaker A:

So a man walks.

Speaker A:

Walks up to them in the cemetery with a flashlight.

Speaker A:

Because it's nighttime, of course.

Speaker A:

And he's like, this looks a lot like devil worship.

Speaker B:

And Dean's like, he can't come up the line.

Speaker B:

Just like, dude, I'm really goth.

Speaker B:

What the fuck is seance in a cemetery?

Speaker B:

Kids do this every day.

Speaker B:

I guarantee you there are teenagers somewhere in a cemetery right now with candles and sage trying to raise the dead.

Speaker B:

That isn't happening at moment.

Speaker A:

Well, I don't think this guy would have liked that response since he was concerned about them devil worshiping.

Speaker B:

But that's not devil worshipping.

Speaker B:

I'm just trying to talk to Aunt Gertrude off.

Speaker A:

Well.

Speaker A:

So Sam's just like, yeah, I don't have anything that we're leaving.

Speaker A:

And then the guy's like.

Speaker A:

The man goes, you're not going anywhere ever again, Sam.

Speaker A:

Oh, that's terrifying.

Speaker A:

So of course his eyes flip white and it's Alistair in a new body and thought you got deep fried, extra crispy.

Speaker A:

And then Alistair goes, no, just a pediatrician.

Speaker A:

I was writing, his wife's still looking for him.

Speaker A:

It's hilarious.

Speaker B:

I was like, that's mean.

Speaker B:

Funny.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

So he's going to demon fling Dean into a tomb into a tombstone.

Speaker B:

But it doesn't work with Sam.

Speaker B:

And he said.

Speaker B:

Because he basically says he's been solo flexing with your little slut.

Speaker B:

And they had to look up with solo flex.

Speaker B:

Flexing was.

Speaker B:

I was like, what the fuck is solo flexing?

Speaker B:

And then I'm like, oh, solo flex the weight machine.

Speaker B:

This makes sense.

Speaker B:

This writing is very weird.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker A:

It was a weird choice of words.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And so that.

Speaker A:

But he is able.

Speaker A:

Sam flings Alistair and exercises him.

Speaker A:

And I wrote down, did he exercise.

Speaker B:

Him or did he just smoke out on his own?

Speaker B:

I think he smoked out on his own.

Speaker A:

He may have just smoked out on his own, but I think he was freaked that he was Demon song by Sam.

Speaker B:

By Sam.

Speaker B:

But also, like, we've got, like, Sam being like, you had no idea.

Speaker B:

I'm like, I don't like this.

Speaker B:

That's not great.

Speaker B:

All right, so we go back.

Speaker A:

Cocky.

Speaker A:

Sam's annoying.

Speaker A:

Anyways, so we actually get some likable.

Speaker B:

Sam further on in this episode.

Speaker B:

But this Sam is not likable at all.

Speaker A:

So in the motel, Dean's icing his face because it hit the tombstone.

Speaker A:

And their new theory is that now this is demons, not miracles at work.

Speaker A:

And Sam lies to Dean about what happened, though, saying that because Dean was knocked out for part of this, he's like, oh, yeah, Alistair totally tried to fling me, but he failed.

Speaker A:

So he failed.

Speaker A:

He didn't tell him what else happened.

Speaker A:

And Dean's like, that's weird, because he was able to fling you last time.

Speaker A:

And you can tell Dean does not believe Sam at all.

Speaker A:

So now he knows that Sam is lying to him again.

Speaker A:

More.

Speaker B:

Yep.

Speaker B:

And Sam just keeps on lying.

Speaker B:

And then Dean says what we all think.

Speaker B:

Whatever.

Speaker A:

Mm.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

So we get that Sam has not.

Speaker A:

Didn't get to communicate with the dead kid, but he did talk to Bobby.

Speaker A:

So Bobby thinks that Sam is right.

Speaker A:

He thinks that there's something up with the local reaper.

Speaker A:

And now the new theory is that the local reaper has been kidnapped by demons.

Speaker B:

Do you realize how stupid that sounds when you say that out loud?

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker B:

That sentence itself.

Speaker B:

I'm like, oh, my God.

Speaker A:

Yeah, it's a lot.

Speaker B:

Okay, so the local.

Speaker B:

The local reaper has been kidnapped.

Speaker B:

And now.

Speaker A:

Yeah, because in an obscure, arcane version of Revelations, if you kill a reaper under the blood moon, it breaks a seal.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Under the solstice moon.

Speaker B:

We did just have.

Speaker B:

Yeah, we did just have a blood moon.

Speaker B:

And it was awesome.

Speaker B:

It was so good.

Speaker B:

And then somebody took the Bauhaus poster because they played underneath the blood moon, and it was really good.

Speaker B:

Anyways, all right, so.

Speaker B:

Blood moons.

Speaker B:

So how do you kill a reaper?

Speaker A:

How?

Speaker B:

I'm asking you, Diana.

Speaker A:

How do you kill a reaper?

Speaker A:

I don't know.

Speaker B:

So they're like, where are the angels?

Speaker B:

So the angels know.

Speaker B:

And they're like, well, I have an idea.

Speaker B:

The idea has.

Speaker B:

Light bulb has gone off.

Speaker A:

And who do they call?

Speaker A:

Our favorite favorite bad bitch, Pamela.

Speaker B:

And she shows up to help.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

She's helped them become ghosts.

Speaker A:

And she pissed by the way she is not helping them, like, with a lot of, like, yeah, guys, I'm so glad to help.

Speaker B:

Help.

Speaker A:

She's like, all y'.

Speaker A:

All, I don't even know why I'm helping you.

Speaker A:

This is stupid.

Speaker B:

Yeah, she thinks they're stupid.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And so Sam calls her for a sight for sore eyes.

Speaker B:

And my goddess asks him, like, why are you.

Speaker B:

Like, what do you say to deaf people?

Speaker B:

And I'm like, yeah, Pamela, tell him.

Speaker B:

And so now we figure out they're gonna astral project, right?

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

So let's talk about astral projection,.

Speaker A:

All right?

Speaker B:

And more importantly, kind of what it sounds are about to do here.

Speaker B:

And let's talk about astral attacks.

Speaker B:

That sounds like a band.

Speaker B:

Like an EDM band, maybe.

Speaker B:

Anyways, so astral attacks.

Speaker B:

All right, so according to cilantro.com your astral body is what is responsible for human activity while you sleep.

Speaker B:

So while you sleep, your astral body is joining the astral plane.

Speaker B:

And according to them, astral attacks occur while sleeping, caused by astral entities and astral bodies of other people.

Speaker B:

For example, if a person experiences negative emotions towards you in real life, it is likely that his or her astral body makes astral attacks on you at night.

Speaker B:

What?

Speaker A:

But.

Speaker A:

But if you don't astral project, you can't get attack then, right?

Speaker B:

I mean, no, you're just sleeping, and then you're automatically kind of astral projecting because you're, like, in your astral body because everybody sleeping.

Speaker B:

So while you're sleeping.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

So now listen to a lot of Art Bell, by the way.

Speaker A:

So I've heard a lot about astral projection.

Speaker B:

I'm.

Speaker B:

Yeah, Art Bell had a lot of things.

Speaker B:

All right, so.

Speaker B:

And we got to watch out for it, right?

Speaker B:

So there's some common signs that you're being astrally attacked.

Speaker B:

All right?

Speaker B:

So if you sleep really heavy, if you have high blood pressure or an accelerated heart rate, if you have a negative premonition before you go to sleep, if you feel fear, bewildered, or angry.

Speaker B:

So if you have emotions, if you wake up sweaty, like, check.

Speaker B:

If you wake up exhausted, check.

Speaker B:

If you wake up with a higher temperature, that is also, those are all sides of being actually attacked.

Speaker B:

All right, so I have a couple of.

Speaker B:

Couple of quiz questions.

Speaker A:

Somebody's after me right now, apparently.

Speaker B:

I think so.

Speaker B:

So we're gonna.

Speaker B:

We're gonna have some questions that'll help you navigate this difficult.

Speaker B:

Whoever is actually attacking Diana, and I bet I know who it is.

Speaker B:

All right, so number one, which of the following at the Head of your bed will make it impossible for quote unquote night demons to stay in your bedroom.

Speaker B:

a poster Corey Feldman circa:

Speaker A:

I'm.

Speaker A:

I mean at least it's not, you know.

Speaker A:

No, it's not Feldman in:

Speaker B:

Anyways, so Feldman in:

Speaker B:

Yo, if you haven't watched Corey Feldman's new rap Stop.

Speaker B:

I go watch it now.

Speaker A:

I would say, you know, my instinct is the crucifix or the bowl of lemon with eucalyptus.

Speaker A:

Those are my two I'd be torn between or combination.

Speaker B:

It would be the water.

Speaker B:

So the eucalyptus or peppermint oil, they night demons can't stand minty smell or something.

Speaker B:

I don't know.

Speaker B:

So because they're just like freshness.

Speaker A:

This smells fresh.

Speaker A:

I can't handle that.

Speaker B:

I don't like that.

Speaker B:

All right, so which of the following could cause astral attacks to occur?

Speaker B:

Is it A, lighting a candle 30 minutes before bed, B, burning incense, C, having a one night stand or D, making sure your bedroom is nice and tidy?

Speaker A:

Candle.

Speaker B:

Oh, of course it's being slutty.

Speaker B:

It's always being.

Speaker B:

People hate sluts.

Speaker B:

All right, so more specifically one night stands.

Speaker B:

It's inviting strangers into your bedroom.

Speaker B:

So that can bring bad energy and so just fuck them in the living room.

Speaker B:

Just don't bring them in the bedroom.

Speaker A:

You fuck them in the living room anyways.

Speaker B:

Yep, yep.

Speaker B:

They don't need to be in your safe space.

Speaker B:

But also a dirty, untidy bedroom with unpleasant odors is a very harmonious environment for the stay of negative astral creatures.

Speaker A:

But you can just balance it out with some eucalyptus oil.

Speaker A:

You're good.

Speaker B:

Yeah, so if you just like spray some oil on like, you know, your filthy sheets, you're cool.

Speaker A:

Is this something I can tell kids?

Speaker A:

You can just tell kids to like, you know, make sure your room doesn't smell bad.

Speaker A:

Pick up and don't like have strangers in your bedroom and you won't get attacked by demons.

Speaker B:

I'm pretty sure like a lot of 15 year old Catholic girls have been told all this like at one time.

Speaker B:

This all sounds like something they were told.

Speaker B:

All right, number three, which of these is not a type of astral attacks?

Speaker B:

Is it A, astral suffocation, B, astral pressure, C, astral injection or D, astral Infection.

Speaker A:

I'm terrified by the last two at all that those words were put together.

Speaker A:

So either one of those sounds terrible, have to be not real.

Speaker B:

The one that is not is the astral infection.

Speaker B:

An astral injection is what you feel like a sharp pain, but you could also feel this while you're awake.

Speaker B:

So if you ever feel like, a little micro shock and then you feel a sharp joint like pain, then someone's trying to astral inject you.

Speaker B:

With what?

Speaker B:

I don't know.

Speaker B:

But just like sitting in with astral injection.

Speaker B:

But also, a astral pressure attack is when you're in a dream and you're flung against a wall.

Speaker B:

So it's a demon flame.

Speaker A:

It's a demon flame.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker B:

It's a demon fling.

Speaker B:

We got two more.

Speaker B:

All right, number four.

Speaker B:

Which of these are not a goal of an astral attack?

Speaker B:

Is it, A, A, stealing your energy, B, turning you into a slacker, C, making you feel comforted, or D, making.

Speaker A:

You feel scared, Making you feel comforted.

Speaker B:

That's correct.

Speaker B:

Because astral attacks want to fuck with you.

Speaker B:

They want to inject you.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And our last.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Or fling you.

Speaker B:

So our last question.

Speaker B:

What type of time of day or night are astral attacks likely to happen?

Speaker A:

I mean, late at night?

Speaker B:

I'm not giving you choices.

Speaker B:

You have 24 choices.

Speaker A:

I was gonna say, like, around, like, 3am Yep.

Speaker B:

Three to 4am Or 5 to 6am for some reason, but yeah.

Speaker B:

Oh, shit always happens between 3 and 4am we all know this.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

That's why the bar is closed at 2.

Speaker A:

So you can go home and go to bed.

Speaker B:

And go to bed and get injected by it.

Speaker A:

I'm just gonna say I'm very relieved that an astral infection is not.

Speaker A:

Not is not the thing.

Speaker A:

Because that sounds very upsetting.

Speaker B:

Sadly, it oozes.

Speaker A:

Oh.

Speaker B:

Infection from my actual injection.

Speaker A:

Oh.

Speaker B:

All right.

Speaker B:

So our ass goddess Pamela is just pretty much like, you're crazy.

Speaker B:

You want to rip your souls out of your body and just go strolling.

Speaker A:

Through the spirit world and you don't know what the fuck you're doing.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And then she makes a really great reference.

Speaker B:

She basically is like, I'm tired of your angel demon, so greaser crap.

Speaker B:

And so once again, we have an outsider's reference.

Speaker B:

I guess it was just on everybody's mind this year.

Speaker A:

That year, I guess, Man.

Speaker A:

Or somebody's just a big fan.

Speaker A:

I don't know.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Dean's like, I'd rather be having a cold one watching Judge Judy 2.

Speaker A:

And she's like, ouch.

Speaker A:

More blind jokes.

Speaker A:

Oh.

Speaker A:

He's like, come on.

Speaker A:

You know, I thought.

Speaker A:

I mean, you know, that's not what I mean.

Speaker A:

And I was like, that's kind of a punch.

Speaker A:

But.

Speaker A:

But he's like, look, you know, we're.

Speaker A:

We're talking about the end of the world because this is one of the seals.

Speaker A:

And that means no more tasseled leather pants.

Speaker A:

No more Ramon CDs.

Speaker A:

Nothing.

Speaker B:

I was trying to picture what tasseled leather pants are.

Speaker B:

What are tasseled leather pants?

Speaker A:

I think it just means, like, leather pants with fringe on them.

Speaker A:

I think that's what he meant.

Speaker B:

I don't know.

Speaker B:

I'm just.

Speaker B:

I was just like, what rocker wears that?

Speaker B:

Because I was like, pamela wouldn't wear French pants.

Speaker B:

Don't.

Speaker B:

Don't say that of a.

Speaker B:

You should wear leather pants.

Speaker B:

For sure.

Speaker B:

But would they have French on them?

Speaker B:

Probably not.

Speaker B:

But if they did, she'd look awesome.

Speaker B:

Anyway, so they're like, we gotta have some mood light.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker B:

Sexy time.

Speaker B:

Sometimes there's an astral injection.

Speaker A:

And she's like, how are you gonna save the reaper, Dean?

Speaker A:

With style and class.

Speaker B:

Oh, my God.

Speaker B:

Don't fear the reaper.

Speaker A:

Useless.

Speaker A:

So she's like, you know, y' all are going to be like fog.

Speaker A:

And you really don't.

Speaker A:

Ghosts have more, like, ability to do things.

Speaker A:

They have time to practice.

Speaker A:

And he's like, well, we'll just have to cram and figure it out.

Speaker A:

So.

Speaker B:

But Sam's like.

Speaker B:

I think it's a really good point, though.

Speaker B:

Sam's just like, go speed us up all the time, right?

Speaker B:

And I think we have some weird ghost mythology that's going to start coming in and out of this, like, maybe kind of question, like, how they do it.

Speaker B:

But besides, that's a really good point.

Speaker B:

Like, why?

Speaker B:

Like, why?

Speaker B:

Why are we gonna be fog if ghosts are always punching us, right?

Speaker B:

So when they lay down, Pamela says, adam Volt.

Speaker B:

Fuck.

Speaker B:

It's Latin.

Speaker B:

Anyways, it's.

Speaker B:

Google translates it to.

Speaker B:

He wants the mind to be deceived, therefore his.

Speaker B:

He is deceived.

Speaker B:

You want, you want, you want.

Speaker B:

Which I think is the play on another Latin phrase.

Speaker B:

Mundus vault.

Speaker B:

Whatever.

Speaker B:

Latin.

Speaker B:

And that one means, the world wants to be deceived, so let it be deceived.

Speaker B:

So I think that's where they got it from.

Speaker B:

But I couldn't find any other spells that that would be in.

Speaker B:

But who knows?

Speaker A:

Creepy.

Speaker A:

Yep.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

But she says it so good.

Speaker B:

She does.

Speaker A:

She does too.

Speaker A:

Well.

Speaker A:

So they lay down and she sends Showtime.

Speaker A:

And she's Doing her chant.

Speaker A:

And then Dean sits up and he's like, doesn' think it worked.

Speaker A:

But the coloring in the background of the room is different, as we noticed as the viewer.

Speaker A:

And Pamela doesn't react to him sitting up.

Speaker A:

So we know that it worked.

Speaker A:

And Dean sits up and they look back at their bodies still laying in the beds.

Speaker B:

Crazy.

Speaker A:

And Pamela assumes that it works at this point as well.

Speaker A:

So she has the way that the incantation that she has to use to bring them back.

Speaker A:

And she whispers it into Sam's ear.

Speaker A:

And he chuckles.

Speaker A:

But we don't know what it is.

Speaker A:

Is.

Speaker B:

No, if you turn it up really loud, you can hear it.

Speaker B:

So what she says is, you have got a great ass.

Speaker A:

I mean, she's told him that before, so it's fair.

Speaker B:

Yeah, she's not wrong.

Speaker B:

But I also wondered, like, does that mean.

Speaker B:

Is that what he has to say to her when he.

Speaker B:

If he wants to wake up?

Speaker B:

So basically he's telling her that she has a great ass.

Speaker A:

I don't know.

Speaker A:

Maybe.

Speaker A:

So.

Speaker B:

We're going to go to some fun times.

Speaker B:

I think a ghost is fun.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

So they're walking down the street.

Speaker A:

A jogger runs straight through them.

Speaker A:

And they kind of freak out about it.

Speaker A:

So Dean decides to put his arm through Sam's torso.

Speaker A:

And it makes Sam very uncomfortable.

Speaker A:

Sam says, get out of me.

Speaker A:

And Dean calls me prude, which is dirty and creepy.

Speaker B:

Yeah, that was a great line delivery there.

Speaker B:

And this is where I'm starting to be.

Speaker B:

Like, this is the Sam I like.

Speaker B:

And I figured like out kind of halfway through.

Speaker B:

I think it's just because he's in a hoodie.

Speaker B:

I don't know.

Speaker B:

There's just something about this Sam, when he's not demon flinging or other things, that is so much more likable.

Speaker B:

I'm like, oh, yeah, I want to hang out with this guy.

Speaker B:

So, yeah, get out of me is the Sam I want to be with, I guess.

Speaker B:

Right?

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

So apparently they've been.

Speaker A:

They walk around town looking for hours.

Speaker A:

No signs of demons or black smoke.

Speaker A:

And Dean makes a gross comment about wanting to go to a creep in a Victoria's Secret.

Speaker A:

God damn it.

Speaker A:

Anyways, but at this point, they see a kid watching them from a window.

Speaker A:

And they realize that it's Cole Griffith, the kid that died.

Speaker A:

And they're like, oh, shit, he's still in the house.

Speaker A:

And we cut to Cole's bedroom and his mother walks in.

Speaker A:

It's kind of this part, this aspect.

Speaker A:

I mean, this episode is multifaceted.

Speaker A:

It's Interesting, but there's a lot.

Speaker A:

There's a very sad layer to this whole episode.

Speaker A:

And this mom is in Cole's room.

Speaker A:

She's calling to him, saying, dad thinks her.

Speaker A:

You know, his dad thinks that she's crazy because every time I.

Speaker A:

Like, a picture frame fell, and it makes me think that you're still here.

Speaker A:

And then a soccer ball on the dresser starts spinning, and then it flies across the room and she runs out.

Speaker B:

Yeah, I mean, I would too, at that point.

Speaker B:

Shitting up too much.

Speaker B:

But she runs right through Sam, the.

Speaker A:

Dean, as they walk in the room and they see Cole.

Speaker A:

Like, we see as the viewer, we get to see that, too.

Speaker A:

It was a good transition on that.

Speaker A:

And he's chunking balls at him.

Speaker A:

And Dean's like, mostly just like, how are you doing that?

Speaker A:

But Sam tries to give Cole to speech that, like, well, you're dead.

Speaker A:

And Cole's like, yeah, I know, Haley.

Speaker B:

Joe.

Speaker B:

He's also like, how do you know my name?

Speaker B:

Like, who the fuck are you?

Speaker B:

Why are you in my house?

Speaker B:

What are you doing?

Speaker B:

And they get downstairs.

Speaker B:

This is sad.

Speaker B:

Mom's just, like, pouring herself vodka.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And apparently the story is that Cole had just, like, a really fast asthma attack.

Speaker A:

And.

Speaker A:

And that's just all there was to it.

Speaker B:

That's sad.

Speaker B:

Very sad.

Speaker A:

And when.

Speaker A:

But when he.

Speaker A:

When he passed, he saw a creepy old guy, and that wanted him to go with him, but he didn't want to go.

Speaker A:

So we know Paul saw the reaper, but it was like, no, I don't want to go there.

Speaker B:

Creepy old guy comes up to me and says, come with me.

Speaker B:

I'll be like, nah, thank you.

Speaker B:

You don't look like you're taking me to a good place.

Speaker A:

This does not seem promising.

Speaker A:

But then the room, apparently, then they were surrounded by black smoke, and it got rid of him.

Speaker A:

And while Cole hid in the closet.

Speaker A:

But he knows where it is.

Speaker A:

He knows where the reaper is.

Speaker B:

So then all of a sudden, the.

Speaker A:

Lights flicker, and Cole says, they're back.

Speaker A:

Dean's like, who?

Speaker A:

And Cole, like, just flickers out and disappears.

Speaker A:

He blinks on it, but we see something fly through the front door.

Speaker A:

And then a woman walks down the stairs, and she recognizes Dean.

Speaker A:

And do we recognize her?

Speaker A:

What?

Speaker B:

And Dean's like, who the fuck are you?

Speaker B:

And she is like, let me remind you.

Speaker B:

And she's like, bam.

Speaker B:

And she kisses him.

Speaker B:

And I did not know that's how you cured amnesia, but cool.

Speaker B:

I will kiss Jensen Ackles every time I forget something.

Speaker A:

And now he remembers reapers yeah, it's Tessa, the reaper.

Speaker A:

A reaper that he met in an earlier episode.

Speaker A:

And he explains.

Speaker A:

He tries to tell her why she shouldn't take the kid.

Speaker A:

She doesn't really care.

Speaker A:

She's like, no, this town's off the rails.

Speaker A:

I gotta fix it.

Speaker A:

So Dean's like, look, this is special circumstances.

Speaker A:

She's like, I'm not getting a mix on your angel demon shit, but I'll wait while you try to figure it out.

Speaker B:

Yeah, so basically she's like, I don't give a fuck.

Speaker B:

I have a job to do.

Speaker A:

Do.

Speaker B:

I'm a badass bitch and I know my responsibilities.

Speaker B:

Stop fudgeing with my job.

Speaker B:

And they're like this special.

Speaker B:

And she's like, look, fine, but when this happens, I'm going to set my expectations for my project.

Speaker B:

Yeah, I have to.

Speaker B:

Like, I will be reaping this child as soon as I return.

Speaker B:

This deadline is solid and we are not going to fuck around.

Speaker B:

This just will have to be done.

Speaker B:

Do you understand?

Speaker B:

You little bitch?

Speaker B:

Oh shit.

Speaker B:

I'm projecting again.

Speaker A:

But then Sam is talking to Cole and he lies to Cole and says, look, you can.

Speaker A:

If you help me, then the reaper won't get you.

Speaker A:

You can stay here.

Speaker B:

You fucking liar, man.

Speaker B:

Like, you're just lying to everybody.

Speaker B:

And I don't.

Speaker A:

Yeah, he's being really liary.

Speaker B:

I don't need to lie to this child.

Speaker B:

Like, I really don't.

Speaker B:

He's like, I'll just say whatever I want.

Speaker B:

He was like, like, I'm pretty sure as we'll find out later that if you just talk to the kid, like, hey, yeah, it's gonna suck, but we got shit to do.

Speaker B:

World's ending.

Speaker B:

Like, I get it.

Speaker B:

You're sad.

Speaker B:

Like, okay.

Speaker A:

And we cut back to Tessa and she's telling Dean how he's the one that got away.

Speaker A:

And then he is talking that how like I don't know, he felt like he was.

Speaker A:

He's got a hole in is her.

Speaker A:

It was the pain of Luke losing father and Sam.

Speaker A:

But he wishes he had gone with her because things are.

Speaker A:

But things are different now.

Speaker A:

And anyways it's just a really weird interaction.

Speaker B:

I really honestly don't understand what he's to trying.

Speaker B:

Trying to say here because he's like, okay.

Speaker B:

He's like, first.

Speaker B:

I had this whole.

Speaker B:

And I wanted to go with you.

Speaker B:

Like I. I wanted to die.

Speaker B:

And then he was like.

Speaker B:

But then things changed.

Speaker B:

And he's like, I got the second.

Speaker B:

And this is obviously going to play into later.

Speaker B:

But she says, you know, he's like, I did really bad things.

Speaker B:

And I think he's talking about not just his hell, but also time before.

Speaker B:

And then he's like, I got a second chance.

Speaker B:

And so, like, now I have purpose.

Speaker B:

We just can't express it.

Speaker B:

Yeah, but that's what he's feeling.

Speaker B:

You know, he's feeling hope, and he's feeling something good, which is why things later get kind of weird.

Speaker B:

All right, so Sam and Cole interrupt them.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And Cole's like, yeah, I totally saw.

Speaker A:

The black smoke is at the funeral home.

Speaker A:

That's where we need to go.

Speaker A:

But then the lights flicker again, and this time, Tessa didn't do it.

Speaker B:

It.

Speaker A:

Black smoke bursts into the house, swirls, and Tessa disappears.

Speaker A:

And they're like, well, we don't really know how to fight that, but we better learn by tonight.

Speaker A:

And they've got.

Speaker A:

There's a Mr. Miyagi joke.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Which is funny, but I think about what's funny.

Speaker A:

It's funny right now, especially because I just want to, like, point out, like, when this episode aired, obviously Karate Kid was still a thing, but not in the way, like, Cobra Kai.

Speaker A:

Like, it's brought it back.

Speaker A:

So it's like, those kind of references are kind of interesting right now.

Speaker A:

It's funny seeing them now and thinking, like, oh, 15 years ago when this episode came out, it would be like, man, whatever.

Speaker B:

Well, I mean, Colton Cole made the joke.

Speaker B:

I don't.

Speaker B:

Well, he's like, I don't know who Mr. Miyagi is, but now that age.

Speaker A:

Would because of Cobra Kai.

Speaker B:

But I don't know.

Speaker B:

Anyway, so I feel that we lost prime prime time for a trading montage right here.

Speaker B:

This would have been much better if I.

Speaker B:

The tiger have been playing in the background while the.

Speaker B:

They were learning to spend windmills.

Speaker B:

And apparently, it's really hard, and as you try and do it, you look like you want to take a poop.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And then.

Speaker A:

And then Cole punches the brothers a bunch, but says basically, to be successful in hitting something, you just have to get mad.

Speaker B:

Yep.

Speaker B:

He does bitch that deed.

Speaker B:

And it was very satisfying.

Speaker B:

I like that.

Speaker B:

And he just kind of, like, fucks around with him.

Speaker B:

Is like.

Speaker B:

So it's a.

Speaker B:

It's a good.

Speaker B:

It's a good ghost movie time.

Speaker B:

That they're learning things.

Speaker A:

Yep.

Speaker A:

And so that night, the brothers go to the funeral home, and it's covered in, like, these glowing sigil markings.

Speaker A:

Sigils.

Speaker A:

That's what I wrote.

Speaker B:

And I was like, is that the right word?

Speaker B:

Sigils?

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

But I Mean, just in general.

Speaker B:

It's just they're.

Speaker B:

They're words.

Speaker B:

They're things.

Speaker B:

And.

Speaker B:

God, man, that would be so cool.

Speaker B:

Like, this is why ghost stuff is cool, right?

Speaker B:

Because.

Speaker B:

You up for me?

Speaker B:

Like, wouldn't it be great if there really was that extra dimension that you could see?

Speaker B:

Like things that nobody.

Speaker B:

Elf scale.

Speaker B:

It was like.

Speaker B:

That's so cool.

Speaker B:

Like, this building looks so, like, dark and shady, but it's just a funeral home.

Speaker B:

I guess your funeral homes are dark and shady.

Speaker B:

Anyways, so.

Speaker B:

I wish that was real.

Speaker A:

I like the demon.

Speaker A:

Invisible ink.

Speaker B:

It's like.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And of course, inside.

Speaker A:

Tessa and a man being assumed to be the other reaper are on the floor unconscious somehow.

Speaker A:

And there's more sigils on the floor, like.

Speaker A:

Like a circle, you know, kind of sort of trapping them.

Speaker A:

And there's a man in the room.

Speaker B:

Very solid.

Speaker B:

It's very Key of Solomon.

Speaker B:

Like, but at different kind of things.

Speaker B:

And there's different Nokian symbols in it.

Speaker B:

And there's a guy guarding them.

Speaker B:

And then Dean pretty much says, hold my beer.

Speaker B:

I love.

Speaker B:

I like.

Speaker B:

I like this first part.

Speaker B:

I thought it was really great because they just had.

Speaker B:

They just look like they're having fun beating the shit out of this guy.

Speaker A:

Yeah, they just keep popping in and out of visibility and hitting them.

Speaker A:

That's pretty funny.

Speaker A:

So they beat him up.

Speaker B:

Up.

Speaker A:

But then while they're doing that, another guy runs into the room with a big iron chain blocking them into one side.

Speaker B:

Oops.

Speaker B:

It was a trap.

Speaker B:

It's a trap.

Speaker A:

It is.

Speaker A:

And another demon walks in.

Speaker A:

And it's Alistair.

Speaker A:

And he's got a new body.

Speaker A:

And a shotgun.

Speaker B:

He got a new body.

Speaker B:

He's got some pretty.

Speaker B:

Pretty sexy accident.

Speaker B:

Voices going on here.

Speaker B:

And he's like, boy, find the place.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker B:

Like, you're so cocky.

Speaker B:

I love it.

Speaker B:

Shoot, demon.

Speaker B:

That rock salt.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

So he does it.

Speaker A:

Challenges Sam to use his mojo.

Speaker A:

And it makes a comment about being able to get it up when you're not wearing your beads.

Speaker B:

It's very, very dirty.

Speaker B:

It's like.

Speaker B:

It's hard to.

Speaker B:

When you're not wearing your beat.

Speaker A:

I know.

Speaker A:

I didn't say it that way.

Speaker A:

Maybe uncomfortable.

Speaker B:

Oh, I can say it.

Speaker B:

That will.

Speaker B:

Go on.

Speaker B:

Come on, hot stuff.

Speaker B:

Why don't you try some of your mojo on me now?

Speaker B:

So hard to get it up when you're not wearing your meat, huh?

Speaker A:

Oh,.

Speaker B:

You're just gonna wake up.

Speaker B:

And instead there's a bit of voicemail instead of it.

Speaker B:

The person asking you if you believe in ghosts.

Speaker B:

It's gonna be me being like creepy about that.

Speaker B:

It's just weird things about meat.

Speaker B:

That's it.

Speaker A:

Just like weird.

Speaker B:

Sexy is what he also calls Earth an arctic crab.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

This is where the.

Speaker A:

Relatively speaking.

Speaker A:

Yeah, relatively speaking.

Speaker A:

I mean compared to hell, it would be pretty cold, I guess.

Speaker B:

Look.

Speaker B:

Well, and also it's covered in shit.

Speaker B:

Like that's all we do.

Speaker B:

That's all creatures do is poop.

Speaker B:

So this entire planet is just covered.

Speaker B:

Is just a crap hole.

Speaker B:

Oh, so I love Earth.

Speaker B:

And then he even monologues some more, right?

Speaker A:

Yeah, but apparently they have to kill death twice to break the seal instead of once.

Speaker A:

And that's why they need two of the reapers.

Speaker B:

Yeah, and then we should stop taunting people because when you taunt people, things don't go great.

Speaker B:

And Dean's like, yeah, you can't kill us.

Speaker B:

And he is like, oh yeah, watch this.

Speaker B:

And then we got to fucking Pamela.

Speaker A:

By herself with their unconscious bodies in the motel room locking a door as she hears a noise.

Speaker A:

And then you see the windows open.

Speaker B:

Why.

Speaker B:

Why was this door not locked?

Speaker B:

Why was that window not closed?

Speaker B:

What the fuck?

Speaker B:

Why weren't you protecting.

Speaker A:

Why is she not armed?

Speaker A:

I'm just saying.

Speaker A:

So now Alistair has a scythe.

Speaker A:

Scythe.

Speaker A:

And Dean makes a joke about the how I propose.

Speaker A:

But hey, I thought it was kind of cool.

Speaker A:

Alistair is talking about how he got it from a friend.

Speaker A:

He doesn't really ride a pale horse, but he does have three amigos.

Speaker B:

Hinting that the apocalypse is coming and that death.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

Doesn't horse.

Speaker A:

But he's got the death is real and he's got, you know, his free.

Speaker B:

Yep.

Speaker B:

And so he starts.

Speaker B:

He picks up the first reaper and he starts speaking in Latin.

Speaker B:

And this is what Google translated that to.

Speaker B:

And to be fair, I could have gone further and it's probably means something else, but I like the version that Google gave me and it translated to this blood mower like mo W E R. Like a.

Speaker B:

Like a mower and that seal which binds the Reverend Lucifer open so that he may rise again.

Speaker B:

So but blood mower, which I'm guessing it's like a knife or a scythe or something that's supposed to like.

Speaker B:

But.

Speaker A:

Well, I mean like you would use a scythe to like cut grain and a mower like cut grass.

Speaker B:

I mean, like conceptually.

Speaker B:

Right, right.

Speaker B:

So but like is blood coming out of the mower or does it cut blood?

Speaker B:

I don't know.

Speaker B:

Is this a John Deere?

Speaker B:

Let me know.

Speaker B:

Okay, so he kills the reaper.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

The old man reaper.

Speaker A:

And he is going over to Tessa and picks up by her hair and starts chanting with her.

Speaker A:

But right as that's happening, we cut back to Pamela and Motherfucker.

Speaker A:

She knows someone is there and this guy is in the room.

Speaker A:

And she tries to start calling Sam and Dean back because she knows someone's there.

Speaker A:

But then he attacks her.

Speaker A:

But right then as Alastair is almost done with his spell on to kill Tessa, the.

Speaker A:

The chandelier falls.

Speaker A:

It breaks the.

Speaker A:

The lines and Tessa's.

Speaker B:

The chandelier falls because Dean and Sam,.

Speaker A:

They use it with their brain.

Speaker B:

Yeah, with their poopy brain.

Speaker B:

Yeah, they're just like.

Speaker A:

They're with their ghost.

Speaker A:

Ghost creepy ghosty brains.

Speaker A:

And.

Speaker A:

And that.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And then they had to change their underwear.

Speaker A:

But Tessa's flickers out and is able to move.

Speaker A:

Remove the iron chains.

Speaker A:

They can get out.

Speaker A:

Get.

Speaker A:

So they can escape because she can touch the iron chain.

Speaker A:

She's not a ghost.

Speaker A:

And so they all flickered outside.

Speaker B:

But Sam's not there.

Speaker B:

It's just.

Speaker A:

Yeah, just the two of them.

Speaker A:

We cut back to the fucking motel and so mad.

Speaker A:

So.

Speaker B:

And she's fighting like a badass.

Speaker B:

She can't see and she's still like beating the.

Speaker B:

Out of this demon.

Speaker B:

And she.

Speaker B:

While she's trying to like wake Sam up, go.

Speaker A:

And Sam wakes up.

Speaker A:

But right as he.

Speaker A:

Right as she gets stabbed in the gut real bad.

Speaker B:

Stabbed my Pamela in the gut.

Speaker B:

Not okay.

Speaker A:

And I got.

Speaker A:

And I got stabbed.

Speaker A:

Not good.

Speaker A:

Real bad.

Speaker A:

I mean not that any stabs real bad.

Speaker B:

But also it smells like your intestines are out.

Speaker B:

Like they're just drooping everywhere.

Speaker B:

It's just not a pleasant odor.

Speaker B:

And so Sam then also just like he's like, well, I'm just gonna poop this even to hell.

Speaker B:

So he poops into hell.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And that.

Speaker A:

But she also laughs.

Speaker A:

She's like, I can't die in this town.

Speaker A:

Like literally you can't die.

Speaker A:

No one's dying in the town.

Speaker A:

So as she's sitting there, her wound, she's not bleeding, it's just sealed up.

Speaker A:

She's just sitting there.

Speaker A:

But yeah.

Speaker A:

So she insists that Sam make her.

Speaker B:

A fucking drink, which is because she's a badass.

Speaker A:

So we get.

Speaker A:

We cut back and Dean gets kind of cornered by Alistair.

Speaker A:

And Alistair's like, you can't hide inside that angsty little noggin.

Speaker A:

But then all of a sudden Alistair gets struck by lightning.

Speaker A:

Alistair is gone like well, okay.

Speaker A:

And Castiel's there.

Speaker A:

So he's like, wait, yay, this was a victory.

Speaker A:

You stopped the seal.

Speaker A:

Hooray.

Speaker B:

Like, duh, fuck.

Speaker A:

You were here the whole time.

Speaker A:

And he's like, oh, yeah, that was totally us.

Speaker A:

You know, we can't get through that script on the funeral home because it's angel proof.

Speaker A:

So we.

Speaker A:

We called.

Speaker A:

We called Sam and pretended to be Bobby.

Speaker A:

Like, that's rude.

Speaker B:

It is rude.

Speaker B:

And then they had to have pretended to be Bobby twice, at least.

Speaker B:

So I don't know if they were just hijacking Bobby's phone lines.

Speaker B:

And then I also decided that I really want to see Misha Collins do a Jim Beaver impression.

Speaker B:

So I spent a lot of time today watching panels, trying to find.

Speaker B:

Because somebody had to have asked him this at some point.

Speaker B:

And I have not found it yet, so maybe not.

Speaker A:

We'll have to file that away.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

If you know of a time where Misha Collins did a Jim Beaver impression as Bobby or just such a Beaver impression overall, please let us know so I can find it.

Speaker B:

Thank you.

Speaker A:

But Dean's like, why the fuck didn't you just ask us?

Speaker A:

He's like, yeah, whenever we ask you to do something, you do the opposite.

Speaker A:

And I'm like, okay, fair, fair, fair.

Speaker A:

So Dean's like, but does that mean people are gonna start dying again?

Speaker A:

And wants an exception for good people since he got an exception for him.

Speaker A:

And then Cassidy says, you're different and disappears.

Speaker B:

I mean, it is natural order, right?

Speaker B:

All these people were supposed to die.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And, Dean, you're not normal.

Speaker B:

You're different.

Speaker A:

So Tessa need Dean's help so that we go back to Cole's house.

Speaker A:

And you see the mother is sitting at the dining room table, flipping through and photo album, just crying.

Speaker A:

And it's just a very sad scene.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And the way the kid is looking at her, though, like, he's just itching to be a vengeful spirit.

Speaker B:

Like, I can just tell, like, oh, like, you want to grow.

Speaker B:

You want to haunt this out house.

Speaker B:

That is clearly your goal.

Speaker B:

You want to be a scary little Victorian ghost child.

Speaker B:

Like, and I don't know how you're going to become Victorian, but you will somehow, like, those clothes will just appear on you and you'll be a little.

Speaker A:

Your pants.

Speaker A:

Your pants will get shorter.

Speaker A:

You will develop a big neck floof, a tie thing, Get a little jaunty cap.

Speaker A:

It just appears.

Speaker A:

It just appears.

Speaker B:

Natural evolution of ghost children.

Speaker A:

Yeah, duh.

Speaker B:

That's why they all look Victorian.

Speaker B:

Now we know.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

So Cole's pissed that Tess is back, though.

Speaker A:

He's like, no, My mom's sad.

Speaker A:

You said I could stay.

Speaker A:

This bullshit.

Speaker A:

Why is she here?

Speaker A:

And she's like, look, I.

Speaker A:

Your mom senses you, and so neither of you are letting go because of this.

Speaker A:

I'm like, oh, that's really sad.

Speaker A:

And he's like, but what's on the other side?

Speaker A:

And she's like.

Speaker A:

Makes kind of like a thing about how it'll ruin the surprise, but basically no one can tell you until you just go and look.

Speaker A:

Dean tries to explain.

Speaker A:

Look, like she.

Speaker A:

You know, Tessa's not going to tell you.

Speaker A:

It's just part of it.

Speaker A:

But staying is worse than anything over there could be, because someday you'll.

Speaker A:

You'll be here.

Speaker A:

If you just stay here, someday your entire family will be gone and you'll be still stuck.

Speaker A:

But everybody's.

Speaker A:

It's okay to be scared because everybody's scared, Michael.

Speaker A:

Daddy gave a really good little speech, this kid.

Speaker A:

Well.

Speaker B:

And I think it's also just a very, you know, character in depth, too, for him to be like, I'm scared.

Speaker B:

Like, I'm scared to die.

Speaker B:

And, oh, I'm sorry.

Speaker B:

I just burst into this microphone.

Speaker B:

It happens sometimes.

Speaker B:

Sometimes we're all scared to die.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And so we call.

Speaker A:

Hugs Tessa.

Speaker A:

And they.

Speaker A:

And they go away.

Speaker A:

And you kind of see, like, it's almost like a little weight lifted off Mom.

Speaker A:

She, like, looks up.

Speaker A:

She could tell something changed.

Speaker A:

So Tessa tells before.

Speaker A:

After Cole's gone, Tessa tells Dean that he needs to stop lying to himself.

Speaker A:

Don't believe that the angels gave you a second chance.

Speaker A:

Trust your instincts, because something nasty is coming down the road, and there's no such thing as miracles.

Speaker A:

Like, well, that's fucking dark.

Speaker B:

Holy shit.

Speaker B:

You're like a little Wednesday Adams.

Speaker B:

I love you, but it's just like.

Speaker B:

It's just like, nope.

Speaker B:

Like, she sounds like me.

Speaker B:

But everyone's like, oh, this is great.

Speaker B:

Covid's passing.

Speaker B:

I'm like, nope, shit gonna get worse.

Speaker B:

Like, monkeypox, motherfuckers.

Speaker B:

Monkey pox.

Speaker B:

Told you shit gonna get worse.

Speaker B:

Nothing good is gonna happen ever.

Speaker B:

There's no such thing as miracles.

Speaker B:

Fuck off.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

All right.

Speaker A:

All right.

Speaker A:

So Pam.

Speaker A:

Pam's able to call Dean back to his body.

Speaker A:

And.

Speaker A:

But at this point, Tessa started reaping again.

Speaker A:

So now Pam is bleeding out.

Speaker A:

This is not good.

Speaker A:

And she is pissed about it.

Speaker A:

Says, tell that bastard Bobby Singer to go to hell forever.

Speaker A:

Introducing me to the two of you in the first place.

Speaker B:

What a great exit line.

Speaker B:

And what.

Speaker B:

Honestly, I think Bobby would love to hear that from Pamela, because it sounds like, he'd laugh, which is why she said it, because she's a goddamn goddess.

Speaker B:

And the Dean's like, you're going to a better place.

Speaker B:

And she's like, you're lying, motherfucker.

Speaker B:

And which is great because we just had this conversation, right?

Speaker B:

Where it's just like, we're always.

Speaker B:

Humans are always lying at this moment.

Speaker B:

And then she whispers in Sam's ear,.

Speaker A:

Says, I know what you did to that demon, Sam.

Speaker A:

I can feel what's inside of you.

Speaker A:

You think you have good intentions?

Speaker A:

Think again.

Speaker B:

What the fuck does that mean?

Speaker A:

This is some dark shit to end this episode.

Speaker A:

Fucking Tessa and fucking Pamela.

Speaker A:

Dropping the heavy on our brothers as this episode is winding up.

Speaker B:

And it was already like.

Speaker A:

It was like they did the episode in, like a fun.

Speaker A:

Ish way.

Speaker A:

I mean, as much as you can for some dark shit, but, like, if you think about it like, this poor little dead kid that died of an asthma attack and his depressed ass mom.

Speaker A:

And like, this is dark and sad.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And as much as I want to feel what's inside of Jared Padalecki, I do want to know what's inside a sage.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And like, so she's like, if you think you.

Speaker B:

And I also just don't understand this line because she said, if you think you have good intentions, think again.

Speaker B:

And so his intentions then, like, it's not that he's ignoring it.

Speaker B:

It's like, this is coming from a bad place.

Speaker B:

Like, you are praying, and I guess she's saying you're praying on darkness.

Speaker B:

I think that's what this implies.

Speaker B:

But it's a weird sentence.

Speaker B:

Well, also, I don't want to feel what that is.

Speaker B:

Also, I can feel what's inside of you is also a weird sentence.

Speaker B:

Sentence.

Speaker B:

But I guess she means a demon.

Speaker B:

Blood, but.

Speaker A:

And then.

Speaker A:

Oh, go ahead.

Speaker B:

And then she dies.

Speaker A:

Yeah, she's dead.

Speaker A:

So Pam's dead.

Speaker A:

That's bullshit.

Speaker A:

And I don't like it.

Speaker B:

Not like it.

Speaker B:

Avenger.

Speaker B:

Avenge Pamela.

Speaker A:

So on that note, we've got some really fun casting notes in this episode.

Speaker B:

We're done.

Speaker B:

You want to finish the episode.

Speaker A:

And then.

Speaker B:

Then Dean asks Sam what she told him.

Speaker B:

And Sam still doesn't say anything.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker A:

Because Sam's keeping secrets.

Speaker A:

Duh.

Speaker B:

Because he is a jerk.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

So, no, it's a fun casting as I didn't want to, like, kill the vibe of the flow to hit them.

Speaker A:

So I want to come back and do those for you guys.

Speaker A:

So Cole Griffith is played by Alexander Gold, better known as, for me at least, as the Voice of Nemo in Finding Nemo.

Speaker A:

Yeah, I know that one offhand.

Speaker A:

And if you watched Weeds, which I really enjoyed, he was Shane Botwin, one of the.

Speaker A:

One of her sons on Weeds.

Speaker B:

Yeah, she was on that for quite a while.

Speaker B:

And he has a net worth of $4.8 million right now.

Speaker A:

Is that from other things?

Speaker B:

I'm guessing it's a Nemo Money.

Speaker A:

I'm guessing that's gotta be Nemo money.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Cause there's video games and multiple episodes, multiple movies and all that.

Speaker B:

Yeah, well, no, he stopped working many years ago.

Speaker B:

He just stopped working to go to college.

Speaker B:

He's married to another act, but she's got like two credits.

Speaker B:

And then I just went down his Instagram and, yeah, you look at Douchebag Alexander on his.

Speaker B:

On his Instagram, it says he is an actor, programmer, crypto investor.

Speaker B:

Yikes.

Speaker A:

Well, all right.

Speaker A:

So, Tessa, we've always.

Speaker A:

Lindsey McKeown.

Speaker A:

We actually have seen her before, so we know she's been super special before.

Speaker A:

And then we hit onto the ground when Alistair was possessing him.

Speaker A:

And that's Andrew Wheeler.

Speaker A:

He's been in episodes of Supergirl, Riverdale, iZombie, Lucifer, and many more, but some shows that we watch.

Speaker A:

And then he was actually also the Mayflower ring steward in Best in Show, which is an awesome credit to have.

Speaker A:

And then who else?

Speaker A:

Our shooter, the mugger from the very beginning of the episode was played by Gabriel Carter, who's also played a very similar role in Breaking Dawn.

Speaker A:

He was, quote, unquote, unsavory man, which is quite a.

Speaker A:

Quite a role.

Speaker B:

That is quite a title.

Speaker A:

But most importantly for this episode, who we see now as the vessel of Alistair, as Christopher Heyerdahl.

Speaker A:

And you probably have seen him in something at this point in time.

Speaker A:

His Captain Locke on Peacemaker Sam and Van Helsing.

Speaker A:

He's been in episodes of Midnight TX, the new MacGyver, Cooper, Barrett's guide to Surviving Life, Arrow, and many more.

Speaker A:

He plays Ezekiel in Pee Wee's Big Holiday.

Speaker A:

He's Marcus in the Twilight series of the Volturi, Dieter Brown in True Blood, and the Swede in Hell on Wheels, which is a show that I bogged love.

Speaker A:

It's not usually my jam, but it was.

Speaker A:

I was really into that series.

Speaker A:

So.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Been a lot.

Speaker A:

So here we go.

Speaker A:

We already talked about Pamela before, so that's why I didn't, you know, that we've covered.

Speaker B:

Yeah, yeah, that's fine.

Speaker A:

A lot.

Speaker B:

And we can talk about Thunderbird more.

Speaker B:

I don't care.

Speaker A:

You're not mad all day.

Speaker A:

You're not.

Speaker A:

You're never mad to talk about Thunderbird.

Speaker B:

Someday we will.

Speaker B:

We'll meet and we'll go at a trapeze together.

Speaker A:

There you go.

Speaker B:

Best friends just being like.

Speaker B:

And probably, like, fighting the patriarchy together or something.

Speaker B:

I feel like that's something.

Speaker B:

Thunderbirds.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

I don't know.

Speaker B:

I just have a feeling she probably.

Speaker B:

I mean, everyone hates the patriarchy, so I'm assuming she'll want to smash it with me.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

All right.

Speaker A:

There we go.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Overall, this episode, you know, had some surprising moments in it.

Speaker B:

You know, I think that that, like you said, the kind of ending on those two, like, dark, like.

Speaker A:

Yeah, real dark.

Speaker A:

Like, secret bombs.

Speaker A:

Like, it was kind of like a.

Speaker A:

Wait, what?

Speaker A:

Wait, what?

Speaker B:

Yeah, so you said, what now?

Speaker B:

Yeah, but I think.

Speaker B:

I think there was a really nice balance of humor and just drama in this.

Speaker B:

I like.

Speaker B:

Although, like I said, if they just had a trading montage, it would have been so much better.

Speaker B:

But.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

I don't know which you think I thought it was.

Speaker A:

I enjoyed the episode overall.

Speaker A:

I thought it was a really.

Speaker A:

I enjoyed the premise.

Speaker A:

I'm not.

Speaker A:

And I know I'm always asked, like, I didn't want them to kill off that character.

Speaker A:

I'm pissed they killed Pam, though.

Speaker A:

I don't like it.

Speaker A:

They didn't have to kill her.

Speaker A:

I don't like it.

Speaker A:

Yeah, I like that.

Speaker A:

I don't.

Speaker B:

I am not a fan.

Speaker B:

No.

Speaker A:

And then I also.

Speaker A:

My.

Speaker A:

My other thing is they kind of dropped two bomb mini bombs at the end of this, like, real secretive ones.

Speaker A:

And I just don't really think that that's satisfying to the viewer in the story.

Speaker A:

Follow.

Speaker A:

I kind of feel like, yeah, sand bombs.

Speaker B:

Not new.

Speaker B:

Like, that has been said, I think, a few times.

Speaker B:

So that one's not new.

Speaker B:

That's just reiterating that we still don't know what the answer to the secret is.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

It's just a lot of, like, dragging that shit out on those.

Speaker A:

Like.

Speaker A:

But somebody else knows, so she knows too, now.

Speaker A:

But we still don't know.

Speaker A:

Like, it's like, come on, give us a nugget of something that's meant.

Speaker B:

That's really what you think?

Speaker B:

I want nugget.

Speaker B:

I want a tasty nugget.

Speaker B:

Give me my nug.

Speaker B:

All right, so someone gave Diana her nuggets.

Speaker B:

Nuggets.

Speaker A:

I thought you wanted a burger.

Speaker A:

What happened?

Speaker B:

You think that when I order a burger, I don't also order nuggets?

Speaker A:

Well, I'm just saying dinner, Dinner.

Speaker A:

Planning courtesy of Supernatural.

Speaker B:

Somebody is bringing me food.

Speaker B:

Damn.

Speaker B:

Well, they're bringing me a burger and nugget anyways.

Speaker B:

All right, that's enough.

Speaker B:

All right.

Speaker B:

Cheers.

Speaker B:

Jerk.

Speaker A:

Cheers.
